excellent for a short stay

The hotel was clean with comfortable rooms looking out on to the main square. Car parking was available free very close to the hotel. Breakfast was reasonable. I doubt if there are any gourmet restaurants in Lidköping, but there are one or two reasonable places to eat nearby.
The only problem was that the weather was unusually hot, making it necessary to leave the windows open. These faced the town square where, at the weekend, the town's youth seems to congregate in "souped-up Volvos", which they line up close to each other before revving the engines. However, they did dsperse when a police patrol car drove past!
