Cozy & Clean

Posted Sep 28, 2017
Pros: Cozy, Clean, Friendly Staff, Affordable.
Cons: *The room was a little too hot at night.
Location: *Everything is within easy walking distance, especially the Vatican. Lots of fantastic little restaurants to pop into in the streets.
*They were kind to let us keep our bags in a side room while we went out to wander before check-in time. *They were quick to get us an affordable car to carry us to the airport. *all the staff was very friendly.

Roman holiday

Posted Sep 23, 2017
My second time at this hotel, having previously stayed two years ago with my daughter. This time it was with my husband and we both loved it. The hotel staff are so helpful and pleasant. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We did not have a balcony this trip but made full use of the roof terrace. Being so close to St Peter's there were plenty of restaurants within a couple of streets but also close enough to cross the river and explore the area around Piazza Navonna. It is on a main road so there is traffic and decor is dated but I would certainly recommend it.

Nice hotel close to Vatican

Posted Sep 8, 2017
Vatican is just behind the hotel. Metro and bus stop is within 5-10 mins walk. Safe neighborhood. 15-20 mins walk to lot of attarctions by just crossing the river . Big advantage is you can access vatican both early morning and late night since next door. Rooms are OK. The rooftop has a small garden which is nice. Wifi and ac in rooms are good. Room condition little old but for the price it's and excellent bargain. Safe nighbourhood.

Horrible hotel&worst staff ever. Dont dare to book

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: Real Hotels with nice staff
Horrible old hotel, it wouldnt mind if the AC was working (+100F) and the staff would be at least hotel staff not rude people. They charge you 10E for a non working AC, but I was traveling alone w/my 3 girls and couldnt afford to be looking for another hotel at night. Their wifi doesnt work. They never offer you help for anything, name it: lugagge, tours, restaurants... It seems that not only the guest want to leave this hotel but also the staff they have there, who by the way speak horrible about the owners or other staff. There are plenty of hotels in Rome, dont get misinformed by their price or location, its not worth the trouble.

Rude staff. AC not working. Will Never come back!

Posted Aug 10, 2017
Upon arrival w/3 girls (pre informed) they sent us to our room without offering the AC option (+10E/day @+100F). We had stayed in 5 hotels in Europe before arriving to Rome and this was the1st one to add a charge for AC. Are you seriously telling that someone would refuse it? Include it in the rate or remind your customers! We got to the room and found out about the ACafter calling to the front desk (who never offered help w/luggage and he saw the 3 girls). Had to come downstairs to get it and guess what? The AC wasn't working! They left us 2 hours there without offering apologies.... other one, I asked for a rollaway bed (because in Expedia they offered them) but they said they didn't have any. Thanks God we only stayed for 2 nights, and really used it just for sleeping. When leaving the rude staff again never offered even to hold the door for me and the girls to get our luggage out. It seems that not only the guest want to leave but the staff seems eager not to be here. I suggest you look for othee hotels close to the Vatican and avoid this one. Forgot to mention that their Wifi was the worst also. And they didn't accept the credit card for the check out: it had to be cash! I would rate this hotel with a minus 2 star!

Let's be serious. Facts are : 1. The extra charge for A/C is clearly written in our page. 2. You`ve booked a triple room but you were 4 people. 3. You've been offered another room with the A/C working but you haven't accepted it. By the way A/C was fixed in your room after 20 minutes you'd checked in. 4. We do accept credit cards obviously. Nothing more to say.

The additional cost for A/C is clearly written in our page. Don't exactly understand your comment about "man in front" and daytime service...

Roma break

We've stayed at the Hotel Adriatic twice before and have been very happy with it. The location is excellent, the staff are helpful and the lovely roof garden is a real bonus. We will use the hotel again.
