We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Prati. It was very convenient to St. Peter’s, just a few minutes to walk. The gentlemen at the desk couldn’t be more helpful. They were friendly and welcoming. They called a taxi when we needed one, but the taxi stand is only a few blocks away, if you want to walk. A very nice area.

Conveniently located near a metro station to get to Roma Termini train station. Also nearby a market & Carrefour Express. I'm not a fan of their carbohydrate rich offerings but they have fresh fruits available (oranges, apples & bananas). I'd definitely stay here again.

The staff at Hotel Prati was amazing and friendly...so helpful and answered all of questions with patience. The decor and atmosphere were perfectly Italian!! The hotel was an short and easy walk to the metro station and the Vatican; other sites were also not hard to walk to. Restaurants close by. There is an elevator, which is a plus!

Nice hotel in a great spot.
Nice hotel in a very good location! 10 minutes walk to Vatican or to Castel Saint Angelo. Bus transfer from the airport (FCO) at the doorstep and metro stop also close by. Staff were very nice and helpfull. The room may seemed a bit small, but it was clean and it had everything we needed. The hotel aslo offers free breakfast, quite basic, but it's a great benefit. We will come back to this hotel!

Great Spot
The hotel was very clean. Staff was very helpful. The room was small but tidy and all we needed for our stay. The location was ideal for seeing the vatican and the shops and food in the area was great.

The owners and managers are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect to walk to all sites and close to many good dining options when you are too tired to walk far at the end of the day. Breakfast included rolls and croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, hot and cold beverages. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was small but suited our needs. The room was very small but it was clean, air conditioning worked well and the staff were terrific. The location is only 2-3 blocks from St Peters Square, the bus terminal. Loved our stay.

Walking distance to the Vatican museum and St Peter’s Basilica. Small but clean rooms. Very friendly and polite staff. Breakfast was simple and decent. We didn’t have a microwave or a smallI fridge. Decent for the price you pay. would recommend it.

This was perfect for the quick, 1 night stay we had planned in the Vatican City area. The staff was very friendly and breakfast included. You can even check your luggage in early so you don’t have to walk around with it! Only thing we were not expecting was how small the room and bathroom were. This may just be different than the states and normal in Europe, but it was still a great small getaway.

PROS: - the hotel is walking distance to the SIT airport shuttle bus. - close to the Vatican and to restaurants / cafes - 24 hour front desk - good wifi (kicks you out after a few days but just need to reconnect) - very friendly and nice staff CONS - the hotel is tiny, don’t trust the pictures posted on the website. I travelled with my partner, both average size, we could fit in the elevator with our cabin luggages but no space left to move. - the shower is tiny, I could not bend down or move around without hitting myself. - we were on the third floor and had terrible water pressure, the tap of the sink had better pressure and more water than the shower. - they offer free breakfast but your choices are assorted croissants, bread, nutella/jam/butter, cereals, yogurt and fruit. We left the breakfast thinking about our next meal everyday. - the room does not have much in it, we did not have a balcony, the windows were old and the one in the bathroom looked like it was missing a hinge so we didn’t touch it. There is a small closet, 2 chairs, small safe and then a mirror and small desk. The closet is ideal to hang sweaters but you can’t hang a dress or pants without folding them first. - can be loud at night / morning Overall: - we were able to walk anywhere from there and had a good / reliable way to come/go to the airport. - definitely not worth the money we have paid, would recommend paying $1-2 more / night and staying somewhere nice / comfortable.

Small spaces but everything you need for simple travel provided. Friendly staff. Several blocks from Metro. I will mention that although they claim to have AC, it is not cool air but that seems to be the norm in Rome and Palermo.

Perfect for solo female travellers on a budget
Amazing place for the price - central Rome, on a street with shops / bars / cafes - perfect! The staff were very friendly and attentive. As a solo female traveller, I often worry about feeling unsafe but I felt very safe here. Would highly recommend!!

Excellent location, close to Vatican city, shuttle bus to airport, bus to Colosseum, and metro. Very friendly and helpful staff. The shower unit is tiny with a broken door, and the Kettle has white residues on the bottom.
