"beautiful position but rooms are very small "
beautiful position. the staff try to be helpful but you have to be prepared to ask more than once for things. unless you are prepared to significantly upgrade the rooms are very small . they went out of thier way to help us upgrade to bigger and much more expensive room . it was a convent so the rooms are small

"Great quiet but central location on the river. "
Boutique B& B with a great location. Fabulous modern decor with fully functional air conditioning which is very much appreciated during August. Comfortable beds, fluffy bathrobes, minibar, Sky TV, free WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Everything you could wish for. Friendly welcome and helpful staff, but remember this is not a hotel so staff not always available this is not a problem in any way but it is just important to know. Quiet position as on the river but near to many of Romes highlights, only a 15 minute walk to the Spanish steps and St Peter s Basilica. Great restaurants and bars are on the door step without the crowds of more central accommodation but only a 10 minute taxi ride to the food heaven in Trastevere Great value for money and would highly recommend

"Wonderful hotel with fun quirks"
I usually stay in Prati when I'm in Rome because it's quieter and has a great choice of restaurants and transportation options . If been wanting to try the ISA for the past couple of years . The beds are So comfortable you will want to stay in them for ever. The breakfast choices are the best I've had in Rome and I've been coming for 30 years every September. Angelo makes a nice cappuccino in the morning. The dining staff always has a smile and the choices are fresh and varied. I loved the balcony on my room as well as the brkfst terrace. The public rooms are such fun with their choice of design . The only thing that could be improved is their hair dryers. I realize it's an energy conservation issue but it is tough to dry your hair in spurts. It was great that I was able to get into my room when I arrived. That hélps so much after an 8 hour flight. And the best gelateria in Rome is just three blocks away.... Gelateria dei Gracchi! I can't wait for my next trip. The orange slippers are a fabulous touch...maybe get some that are smaller as well?

Pocket Guide: Vatican, Rome Boutique Hotels

The world's smallest country, Vatican City is dominated by St Peter's, Christendom's largest church. Michelangelo's humbling 'Pietà' and his Sistine Chapel ceiling frescos are among the world's greatest works of art. The Aurelio area is named after the ancient Via Aurelia, the main road that connected Rome with Spain, and is convenient for visiting the city's sights.
