Stunning hotel. Great location.Posted Apr 2, 2017
Pros: Character of the property. Room size and facilities. Staff. Everything!!
Location: Perfect for travel and exploration. Quiet and peaceful in a busy city.
Returning to this hotel after many years, we were delighted to see the superb quality had not diminished.

A no nonsense hotel.Posted Mar 26, 2017 on Hotels
Once you get to the hotel every thing is perfect. Getting to the specific hotel parking which is ample you still have a long way to reach the reception and from the reception to the main elevator you have to cross the restaurant. Besides that the staff was outstanding and the hotel is within walking distance to the main attractions.

The hotel is well renovated from a historic property. The location is very convenient to all key sights. There is a big and easy parking area. The backyard is beautiful. The room is spacy and comfortable. However, the bathroom and toilet is quite small.

Atmospheric hotel for History BuffsPosted Mar 9, 2017
A beautiful Medieval Cloitre turned into a charismatic hotel with a top notch restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. Far enough away from the centre (about 10 minutes walk from the Palace of Popes but still within the city walls) to gain some perspective but close enough for some serious surfing of museums, palaces and galleries. A delectable restaurant topped off our experience

Quiet location but close to everythingPosted Feb 18, 2017
Pros: Very helpful staff. Although my French is OK, they all speak English too. Good restaurant, pleasant small bar.
Cons: Nothing that would affect me.
Location: The main attractions ( the Popes Palace, the art museum & the famous bridge) are at the other end of town but easy to walk to.
In a side road off the Main Street. 5 minutes walk from the regional rail station. 10 minutes by taxi from TGV station. All the historic sights are within easy walking distance. The modern interior of the hotel is within an old exterior.
A gem in Avignon worthy of the city itself.Posted Jan 12, 2017 on Hotels
What a beautiful building, with great unique rooms full of character. The dining too on the cloister is simply lovely for breakfast lunch and dinner. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and helpful.
