“Beautifully designed hotel in gorgeous grounds. Excellent facilities including paddle & tennis courts. Evening walks through the park were enjoyable. Hotel was clean, tidy and peaceful.
Breakfast was enjoyable with a great selection.
Natella restaurant very disappointing, expected high-end and polished, which it wasn't. Very expensive.

“This review is specifically for the “penthouse” suite with the private bathroom. We were very disappointed to arrive to find the bathroom filthy and clearly used and not cleaned. I’m assuming one of the guests from the downstairs rooms with the shared bathrooms had found it and been using it, but the management really should have checked before we arrived. We bought cleaning wipes at the market and cleaned the bathroom as best we could. Also the mattress was so old and worn out that you could……
