Very functional rooms and the place is in a nice neighborhood. Easy parking, swimming-pool and the hostess, host and (namesake) daughter Bo, are all really personal and fun. We felt utterly welcome from we stepped out of the car as we arrived. We signed up for dinner the last evening and had the greatest and most fun meal with this great family. It was with a bit of sadness saying goodbye's as we had had a great time - really.

Quiet, comfortable hotel next to a gate into the old town.
Nathalie and Emilie did their utmost to ensure we were comfortable, and provided all the local knowledge we required, Nathalie particularly running round like a mother hen!
The hotel is located within a few minutes walk of all the restaurants and little shops that this small provincial town of Vence has to offer.
Breakfast was optional and fairly basic.
Surprisingly, the hotel has some hard and fast rules about food and drinks in the room but puts the breakfast room at guests' disposal during the day.
One major drawback is the steep flight of stairs from the entrance to the first floor/ reception area..

Our family of 4 was looking for a hotel with a local flavor near one of the medieval villages, and the Villa Roseraie was just what we were looking for. The room (suite with balcony) was very spacious with a perfect blend of classic decoration with modern upgrades, had a great outdoor garden area, and was a 5-10 min walk to the town center. The hosts were fantastic, providing a great French breakfast with eggs to order and helping feel at home.
