Fabulous location and great staff

Pros: Good breakfast, nice room, friendly staff
Cons: shower drain was clogged, weekend nights were loud outside
Location: Rialto bridge and market, bars, restaurants, short walk to anywhere in the city
Everything you would expect from a standard B&B. Wifi was great, breakfast was tasty, staff was friendly. There's only 3 rooms so the shared bathroom isn't crowded. Would stay here again.

This is a no frills bandb. Good wifi, clean, safe, hot shower, but reminds me of a private room at a hostel. People are nice and welcoming and the breakfast is juice coffee and pastry. Not bad at all. If you plan to just sleep in your room, save your money on something more expensive you will be fine here.

Pros: It was a great location with street markets and restaurants nearby so that made it very easy to grab something on the go!
Location: 5 minute walk to the Rialto bridge and about 15 minutes to San Marco square. Venice is a small city itself, so this was really close to everything.
You do not have your own private bathroom, so keep that in mind when booking this room. You are sharing it with the other guests which I believe were 3 rooms on the floor. It was a spacious room for the 4 of us. You do have to lug your luggage up stairs since there are no elevators which seemed common in Italy.

Pros: Location, price, host, cleanliness... All great
Cons: It would be nice to have use of kitchen facilities.
Location: Walking distance Rialto bridge, San Marco square, shopping and more
Paolo was a very kind host. He gave us easy to follow directions to the B&B. The location is very good, especially for the price. The room and bathroom were both very clean. Breakfast was good ( could use some fruit maybe) and Paolo even made us cappuccino each morning. We have a little balcony off of our room which was also nice.

For a Bed & Breakfast, this one was fantastic. Affordable. Good location. Nice large clean room. Shared bathroom would be the only drawback but very affordable price which makes up for that.

Brilliant location, close to water bus stop and the highlights of Venice. Friendly owner. A little noisy at night. Great price for Venice!

Hard to find and sketchy service, but still OK

We had a hard time finding the place, as streets and addresses in Venice are not always orderly and predictable. It's located on a back street, through a narrow little alley. And once we found it, with help from a couple of friendly citizens, there was no one there to greet us. We had to call for someone to meet us. The room itself was OK, but the single bathroom is shared between three rooms; time consuming and not very convenient. Breakfast was to be served in room between 8 and 10 am upon request, but on our first morning, there was no one around to provide breakfast until 8:45. However on a subsequent night we requested that our breakfast be delivered in the evening because we needed to get an early start in the morning, and we were accommodated. Breakfast was the typical continental packaged breads and preserves, yogurt, coffee or hot chocolate and juice. Best feature is the location, near the Rialto fish market and just minutes from the Rialto Bridge. Things are expensive in Venice, and this B&B is no exception.

Very nice B&B

The santa sofia is very nice and quaint. Its looks like it could have been apartments at one time, but now is owned by a family who uses one room as an office/kitchen and the rest as rooms for visitors. They were very nice and the breakfast was served to us in our room (which was huge by European standards) and was a nice typical Italian breakfast. Everything was clean and very pretty. My only knocks are that there is only one bathroom for everyone, and the place is Impossible to find. It is on a small back alley with no sign. You will never find it if you don't call them and have them meet you. The location was perfect and I would stay there again.
