The room was quite warm. Opening the windows in the evening helped, but then it was rather noisy outside. A fan in the room would have helped.

Actually we didn't stay at this particular hotel. We were told we got upgraded to their 4* hotel on the same street when we checked in. The staff was very nice to bring us to there. We were happy with the upgrade.

The management was extremely kind and helpful back in our trip and 2019 when our booking .com hotel fell through. They provided a room and nice breakfast each morning. Staff was always helpful and provided what we needed.

First, we booked at the Carlton Capri, but after finding the hotel, there was a Large sign saying “Closed for Renovations”, go the Carlton Grand on the Canal. So we walked over there and the front desk said our reservation had been moved to that hotel. We were never notified of this. At first I thought, great, this seems like a free upgrade, but that was not the case. The main reason for the horrible rating is Bed Bugs! My partner woke up with terrible bites, and looking at the sheets, clear signs of bed bugs. We just started a week long trip through Italy, so this has really disrupted the trip. After going to new hotel, we’ve spent hours going through our luggage, and at laundromats cleaning clothes but are still concerned the bed bugs may be hiding in our bags. I searched and found some older reviews of the Carlton Grand that also claimed bed bugs, so I’d never stay there again. If you do, I’d encourage a thorough mattress search before going to bed.

Excellent location near bus station for easy access to Mario Polo Airport and Ferrovia waterbus station. Staff very helpful and pleasant, especially cheerful Marco. Hot and cold buffet breakfast very good.

This is the second time we stay at this Hotel. The first time was back in 2013 and we liked it so much we took a chance to stay there again almost 10 years later. This is a small quiet Hotel very well located close to St. Lucia Train Station and Plaza de Roma for good transportation options. you do not need water taxis to get to this hotel. The buffet breakfast is convenient, and the Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. All and all and taking everything in consideration I continue thinking this Hotel offers so many convenient conditions when staying at Venice that I would not risk trying to be somewhere else if I go to Venice again

Very clean, and traditional. Lots of character to the place and very centrally located. Close to the station and all the other landmarks of Venice. But no modern facilities like gym, pool or bigger rooms.

good location. the room is clean. staffs were helpful to keep our luggages before our check-in time while we can go out to visit. when we came back, the luggage were already delivered to our room.
