If you plan to sleep, don't stay here!

Pros: Staff, breakfast, size of room and shuttle to the airport was great.
Cons: Comfort of bed and cleanliness of shower needs immediate attention.
Location: 5 minutes to the airport via the hotel shuttle.
The worst hotel bed in the history of our stays around the world. As much as we paid for one night stay before a 12 hour day of flying, we expected comfort and it missed the boat! Because of the discomfort of the bed and lack of sleep that night my husband and I had a miserable and exhausting day of traveling. The bed is so hard and the pillows are so hard and flat. I ended up moving over to the chair in the room that had an ottoman and somehow scrunching into position that fit for 1 hour of desperate rest. Also, the shower was so badly stained from mold and scum that I almost didn't get a shower, but out of my delirious state and the need to get some energy to catch our flight I just took a chance and prayed I didn't catch some sort of fungus. The hotel was nice, the breakfast was great, the staff was wonderful, but if you can't sleep (which is the point of most stays) and the shower is questionable after paying $250 for one night....never again will I choose a Marriott Courtyard!

A great place to end our Venice stay

We stayed in Venice for most the trip and moved closer to the airport for early morning flight. The shuttle from the private taxi pier and to the airport was seamless. Loved having a big elevator, large bathroom/ shower and iron after being in other hotels throughout Italy.

Close to the Venice Airport

Location: If you like kebabs, there is a great shop just outside the hotel and down to the left.
Overall, it was a good experience with one big exception. The front desk staff is helpful and pleasant. The airport shuttle is convenient and there is a small charge to use it. One word of caution, if you lose your room key it costs 5 euros to replace it. There is a small sign notifying you of this but it is hidden among many other signs placed on the far corner of the front desk. The front desk staff does not mention this charge when checking in. I checked in twice last week and had two different staff and neither mentioned it to me.

Good stop-over

One night stop en-route to Venice. Modern, clean, friendly staff, 5 mins from airport, shuttle bus to ferry terminal. Good restaurant

Airport hotel with standard american amenities

Food in restaurant was quite good. Has airport shuttle that goes every 30 minutes so great is you have a late flight coming in or an early flight going out. All was up to Marriott standard EXCEPT the bathroom was not cleaned properly. That was disappointing. I hope it was not the norm at this hotel. Had the bathroom not been a hairy mess I would have given it a 4+ star rating.
