Great service. Central location Amazing decor Bistro & terrace have delicious food & great views No coffee pot No air conditioning
The staff was excellent and very helpful. The room had a few drawbacks in the bathroom and general repair but was fully functional. Showering with no screen or curtain was a novel experience. Breakfast was good and the concierge was excellent.
Restaurant was quite expensive for evening meal due to the hotels location if you arrive later in the evening after traveling but the food was good that we had ....everything else was excellent
This is our second time at Pallezzetto Pisani. We stayed in the 'Corto' suite which doesn't have a direct view of the Grand Canal but you can always enjoy an aperetivo on one of the balconies in the 'Piano Nobile'. The room itself is generously proportioned although some of the fittings are looking ...
Metropole is a beautiful, warm and friendly hotel in a prime location. The rooms are just what you would want from a Venetian hotel - almost. Bizarrely no coffee making facilities and given the cost of everything in Venice, a cuppa in your room would be nice. Overall a great stay though.
Lovely Venetian hotel. Easily located near the Rialto Bridge. Clean and comfy. As with all hotels in the area needs a little updating but nothing that impacted our stay. Lovely breakfast supplied or at extra cost dependant on booking. Only complaint was the air con didn't work but opened windows ...
We were on the 2nd floor and there wasn’t a lift but the porter carried our bags up for us, which was nice. The hotel is in a good location as it is near St Mark’s square and the Rialto Bridge. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of choice but no chance of a ‘full English’. Being English, it ...
Spent two nights pre-cruise. Very convenient location. Great trattoria right across the alley. We ate there two nights in a row. Front desk staff was exceptional. Loved the garden!
This hotel is close to thw San Stae boat stop. Staff is really nice. The only bad thing is there is no elevator, but someone from the staff can help you with your luggage. Breakfast is really good, with a variety of fruit, juice, bread, etc. Venezia is very safe, so walking outside at night in those ...
This is a wonderful location with so much to see and do. We enjoyed a photography walking tour one evening. Restaurants were lovely. Everything about this wonderful city was just perfect for our short but sweet stay.
We found the reception warm and inviting. Room very large by European standards. Breakfast outstanding. Not too keen on the side door entrance to the hotel. With no lift, the stairs were somewhat challenging. All considered this was a very satisfying three night stay.
We mostly enjoyed our stay here. The property is very pretty. The staff was mostly accommodating. We thought it very odd no one was at the hotel in the evenings. There was also no bar, which would have been nice, with their pretty patio and lobby. You would expect these things at a four star hotel. ...
the experience we live was amazing and we are deeply grateful for choosing this hotel in our firt experience in Venice.
I loved this hotel. The room was very small (twin bed, table, dresser) but it was so comfortable and the air conditioning was wonderful (and necessary in July). Breakfast was continental style with coffee/tea/juices, rolls and croissants, sliced meat and cheese, fruit, and yogurt, and was available ...
Our stay at this hotel far exceeds excellence! The owner, Matteo, greeted us by name as we entered the door (even two hours later than I had notified). He gave us a tour and information about his purchase of the hotel to our inquisition. The terrace is the highlight of this hotel, and the location ...
Good hotel. Book well in advance Rooms are old world style. Ceilings very high, curved with painting, chandelier, large windows with wooden shutters. Very clean room, easy to get to from reception desk. Staff very nice and helpful. Water taxi landing at this hotel 80 euros for taxi from hotel to ...
The Baglioni Hotel Luna is one of the best 5 star experiences I have had. The room was gorgeous and roomy and perfectly maintained. The lasagne was incredibly good. Every detail was managed to provide a luxurious experience. And the staff is exceptional.
This hotel was everything we needed. 2 minute walk from the train station and right smack dab in the middle of a million restaurants and little shops. San marco is about a 20 minute walk. You are very centrally located so you can walk the whole island easily. We were a little Leary at first as it ...
The staff were so helpful and had many suggestions for outings. They encouraged our Italian while supplying al the English we needed. Breakfast was elegantly served and a nice variety of food served on China with heavy utensils - nice! The room was nice but the windows didn’t have screens. Being ...
Book today and experience the heritage and allure of a hotel with a story and a past. Look past the sparkly, high-rise hotels and go the rustic route instead.
Because when you choose a historic Venice hotel with a story to tell, you’ll have your own tales to share when you go back home. We doubt those brand new high-rises have that kind of charisma! Older accommodations have a colorful past, and many are located at the site of a significant event. These fascinating relics offer a glimpse into a different era and way of life. During your stay at a historical hotel in Venice, marvel at the on-site antiques and explore the nearby landmarks. You’ll feel as though you traveled through time as you take a tour of the area and other historical attractions during your vacation.
While we can’t offer you the same hotel rates of yesteryear, we can present you with the lowest prices on the market today. Thanks to our great prices, you can confidentially book classic historic Venice hotels knowing you won’t find a better discount elsewhere. Whether you’re a history buff wanting to brush up on your facts or a jetsetter looking for a famous place to rest, browse our selection of historic Venice hotels.
