Lovely Room, but there were lots of added extras

Posted Dec 23, 2016
The room was lovely and the bed was very comfy, but had to pay for lots of extras. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and they tried to charge us €3.50 for a singular tea bag.

Excellent hotel!

Posted Nov 7, 2016 on Hotels
If you ever get to this hotel, be sure to ask for a modern room! They are much prettier... :) Good size room, very clean, great staff, super close to Mestere train station! Excellent choice! The parking is right in front of the hotel and costs 10euors a night.

Convenient hotel

Posted Oct 31, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel is located in a local neighborhood about 12 min walk from Mestre Train station. We (two girls) got in at about 10 pm on a Thursday night and it got pretty scary to walk to the hotel as we were constantly approached by men wanting to pick us up. Friday night was much better when we returned as there were more people on the streets. During the day it seems like a friendly neighborhood though. Room is very clean, small and basic; wouldn't complain with the price we paid for. However the hotel has terribly thin walls so if you're a light sleeper be sure to bring ear plugs. Breakfast is alright with eggs, bacon, bread, cereals, fruits and a good selection of tea, coffee and artificial juices. Some of the staffs have bad attitude (like most parts of Italy), but some are helpful and informative; so it all depends on how lucky you are. There is a bus stop across the road that goes straight into Venice for 1.50 Euro; and an airport shuttle at the end of the road (about 10 min walk) for 8 Euro that goes straight to Venice Marco Polo airport in around 15 minutes. The shuttle comes every 20 min but be sure to check the timetable at the hotel lobby. There is also a supermarket right next to the hotel and a McDonald's & another supermarket down the road.

Small bathroom and loud traffic noise

Posted Oct 29, 2016
Location: Large grocery store close, train station 10 minutes away. Easy train ride to Venice.
Try to request a room not facing the road. Difficult to fall asleep even with window closed. Bathroom small and cramped. Breakfast ok, not great. Room was fine as far as cleanliness and comfort. Next to large grocery store and a 10 minute walk to train station. Overall would be fine if you can a quieter room.

Great hotel & location!!!

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Location: Nearby the train station, a big market and you can take the bus across from the hotel to go to Venice. The hotel sells the bus tickets.
Located closer to everything. The staff very helpful with directions. Great food.

Easy Access to Venice

Posted Oct 11, 2016
The hotel had small but adequate rooms a reasonable breakfast and a fitness room that is not great but good enough. There is bus directly across the street that takes you to the island o Venice every 10 minutes for only e euros round trip

Not a 4-star hotel

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. It was good to be able to buy bus tickets at the front desk.
Cons: The wifi is dreadful. The staff on the whole were ok. The fitness suite was a few pieces of equipment in a barely ventilated room.
Location: Mestre is a nice area to stay in, and the location of the hotel makes it easy to get into the main part of Venice. The 4L bus stops across the road.

BEAUTIFUL, NICE AND QUIET

Posted Sep 21, 2016
Pros: THE STAFF AND SETTING WAS WELCOMING
Cons: PAID $3 A NIGHT FOR PREMIUM WIFI, BUT IT WAS STILL WEAK AT TIMES
Location: THE HOTEL HAS A STOP IN FRONT WHICH GOES TO AND RETURNS FROM VENICE ISLAND. THERE IS A SUPERMARKET A COUPLE OF DOORS DOWN " PAMS"
STAFF WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING , HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGABLE. THE ROOM, THOUGH A LITTLE DATED. WAS IN PRISTINE CONDITION SUCH AS THE MARBLE VANITY IN THE BATHROOM. THAT SAID, THE ROOM ALSO HAD MANY MODERN FEATURES ( LIGHTING, ART WORK, SMART TELEVISION) WHICH COMPLEMENTED THE ORIGINAL FITTINGS AND CHARM OF THE ROOM
