My wife and I were traveling with our six-year-old son, and we had a fair amount of luggage, so it was helpful that the location of this hotel was great (a short 5 min walk from the Venice St Luca train station). The staff at the reception was friendly, helpful, and professional, and we enjoyed the daily breakfast at the hotel. The room was a bit small but I think most hotels in Venice have the same limitation with space. We love the bathroom as well as the overall decor of the room. The highlight of our stay was the private water taxi ride from the doorstep of the hotel to the airport (the friendly staff at the hotel helped us arrange it. Much cheaper than what I found online). I would recommend anyone looking for a hotel in Venice to try this.

Our room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The wait staff and doorman were excellent and helpful. Reception manager at the desk average! The surrounding neighborhood was lovely, good restaurants and shopping.

Our stay at Hotel Canal Grande was exceptional. Staff offered us an upgraded room during our stay for a very reasonable supplement. All the staff, including Alessandro, Chiara, Ivano, Marianna and Maria, provided outstanding service. Should we return to Venice, we would stay here again. Thank You for an amazing stay!

Wonderful hotel near the train station. Clean and comfortable rooms, a hot shower, and a nice quiet piazza to have a drink away from the tourists. Not super close to St Marco piazza but it allowed us to explore less touristy parts of Venice. Iā€™m not usually a breakfast eater but it was all very tasty! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Ideal location if arriving by train. Front of house staff were exceptionally helpful. Rooms grand but mine was in the annex and a little old fashioned.
