Muy bueno.Posted Aug 26, 2015 on Hotels
Excelentemente ubicado en pleno corazón de Venecia. Llegas a pie a todas partes.

Venice summer tripPosted Aug 17, 2015 on Hotels
I stayed at Hotel Caprera with my 2 children for two night in a triple bedroom. We managed but there wasn't much room for our luggage. The owner and staff were very friendly and always available if we had any questions. The breakfast was pretty good (fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, pastries..)! Over all, a good hotel, but I don't recommend for extended stay.

Just okPosted Aug 7, 2015 on Hotels
Just an ordinary hotel. It took us about 5 to 10 minutes to get to the hotel from the railway station. It is situated at an alley adjacent to the main street. If you have heavy luggage, it'll be a bit difficult for you to get to your room because there's no lift. The breakfast is acceptable. Limited choice of food. My room was clean and had a small balcony. I visited the city in summer, and it was very hot. Frankly speaking, the 'machine' in my room was not an air-conditioner, but just a 'strong cooling fan'. I was not able to regulate the desired temperature with the remote control because the button cover was blocked by a plastic strap. After a shower, I felt comfortable only in the area covered by the cool air coming out from the 'machine'. Next morning, I heard a lady ask for another room as it was just above the kitchen but had no air-conditioner. The staffer told her to open the window during the night-time. Considering the high prices of goods in this city, I held that my room and the hotel service were ok.

Lamentablemente nos tocaron días de mucho calor y el hotel no tenía aire acondicionado. Solo un ventilador que andaba poco. Además muy ruidoso a la noche para dormir. Lejos del centro

WARNING: No elevator & most units had no air cond.Posted Jul 26, 2015 on Hotels
During a prolonged hot spell in July, our room had no air conditioning, just a small fan. Windows without screens opened onto a breezeless alley. It was hotter in the room than it was outside. When we asked about getting a better room, we were told any units with air conditioning were already filled. There was no elevator and no one offered to help us lug our bags up two flights of stairs (I'm 66 years old but fortunately I am still in top physical shape). We spoke with some other exhausted guests our age who complained bitterly about the difficulty they had hauling their luggage up three flights of stairs. But for those problems, the hotel is fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The two men who took turns covering the front desk had excellent English language skills, were courteous and happy to provide information about buses, boats and restaurants. The location is a short walk from the bus terminal at Piazza Roma and from the Venezia St. Lucia train station. The location is also convenient to shopping, restaurants and all forms of transportation. I gave the hotel a poor rating in room comfort only because of the lack of air conditioning. I gave the hotel a poor rating on hotel service only because no one offered to help us carry our bags up two flights of stairs and there was no elevator.

Friendly hotel, good locationPosted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Location and friendly staff
Location: Easy walking distance to train and bus stations, and to canal transport. All sights within walking distance, great for exploring Venice.
Comfortable hotel, excellent location for easy access to train and bus stations and for exploring Venice on foot. Hotel was down one of the alleyways off the main street but quiet at night, and felt safe. Friendly, welcoming staff. Fan provided in room which was definitely required in the July heat! Adequate breakfast. A good hotel for a reasonable price, I would stay again.

Bra lägePosted Jun 18, 2015 on Hotels
Rent och snyggt, trevlig personal. Bra sängar, spartansk frukost. Läget perfekt på kort gångavstånd från Piazzale Roma.
