Excellent location for exploring Venice

Posted Apr 21, 2017
This hotel is a little tricky to find at first but once you get your bearings it is close to the Rialto bridge, St Mark's Square, lovely restaurants and lots of shopping. The room is a little sparse in terms of luxuries but the decor is traditional Venetian and gives a sense olden times from the moment you arrive.

Nice hotel in quiet location

Just off a quiet square 5 minutes from saint Marc's square & Rialto bridge. A little shabby but nice hotel.

Central location and friendly staff

Posted Mar 27, 2017
Pros: Location, service and breakfast
Location: Central location in Venice, close to Rialto and San Marcos
Inexpensive room for solo traveler in central location. Room was ready for early check-in. Friendly english-speaking friendly staff. Their Venice map was good and was thoroughly used.

Excellent position - could not have been better

Posted Mar 13, 2017
Pros: The location, view of the canal - and the room's wall covering! (Blue & gold material)
Cons: The coffee. The staff could smile and speak when one passes through reception to collect or leave keys.
Location: Ideal - walk to Accademia/St Mark's & Rialto within few minutes. Easy walk from Rialto stop for Alilaguna boat to airport - no steps, all flat.
Generally pleasing. Breakfast OK but coffee dreadful

Dear Customer, thank you for your good judgment. The staff is always smiling and helpful, sometimes happen to be alone (on the desk) and busy with other clients or counts and, therefore, find it difficult to "doubling". Best regards

Venice Hotel With Great Location

Posted Mar 11, 2017
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and once we found it, we realized that it was in a fantastic location. Very close to all the major points of interest. Very friendly staff and I would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Venice the way it should be seen

Posted Mar 4, 2017
Pros: See above
Cons: Heat hard to adjust. Literally no view but not much you can do about that. Mattress.( Can get sweet pillow top mattress/ box spring for $400 online)
Location: See above
What a great discovery! A beautiful, personal, clean, luxurious, small, strategic location close to EVERYTHING, literally right in the heart of Venice. At a fraction of the cost you'd pay at a big, fancy hotel. - Staff: consider you family from the minute you hit the door. - room: comfortable, luxury, great shower, ultra clean - breakfast: great food in classy dining room - location: just 5 minutes to La Finice Opéra House, any restaurant you could possibly hope for and maybe 10-15 venition maze walk to everything else. - cost: a fraction of what you'd pay at a bigger concern. In summary, you would be a traveling fool to consider staying anywhere else. Kurt

OK, but nothing special

Posted Feb 20, 2017
Pros: The position, so close to where we wanted to be. The decor was very nice, and the front reception staff.
Cons: Sort out the peeling paint in the bathroom. More breakfast staff. A mention of how thin the walls are.
Location: 5-10 walk to St Marks Square and the Rialto water taxi stop. Hotel situated in the main sightseeing area.
Location great, not far from St Marks Square or the water taxi stop which was great. The hotel was decorated lovely and reception staff were great, friendly and very helpful, but unfortunately the rest was a disappointment. There was only 1 lady working the whole breakfast time, she was replenishing the buffet ( which was very limiting ) also clearing plates and washing up from what we could gather. Too much for 1 person!!. Not very chatty either but not surprised as she had so much to do. The breakfast was OK but no choice of eggs, luke warm boiled eggs was the only option, typical continental breakfast which we expected but normally the English are catered for in most places we've visited. Juice was watered down, cereal limited, but unlimited ham, cheese and cakes!?!. Biggest issue was the extremely thin walls!! you could here everything, and I mean everything!! There were 2 women next door to us who came in around 1am every morning and proceeded to chatter away, and move furniture until the early hours, which after a days travelling, sleep is much needed, unfortunately some people are very inconsiderate. The bathroom had paint peeling off the walls and ceiling which let the room down. Overall great location if not fussed about a great choice of breakfast and sleeping!.

Dear Customer, thank you for having stayed at our hotel. We are sorry to read that not everything is to your liking, such as breakfast: our products are fresh and are served every day always new. Unfortunately the central timetable breakfast room is very crowded and it happens that the waitress is very busy if there are many customers to serve. The Hotel is ancient and NOT old, it is restored every year and every day is made maintenance in the rooms. Best regards
