Location, Location, Location

Posted Feb 26, 2017
Pros: Small very friendly hotel in great location Perfect for our needs - will be our first choice when we come back to Venice.
Cons: Bar very quiet , so no (in hotel) evening entertainment . But close to a number of good bars & restaurants for evening drinks.
Location: Ideal central location close to the major sights. Good local bar next door ( Bacaro Risorto ) , great for people watching.
We chose this hotel based on the many positive reviews on the internet, & have to say it was an excellent choice. We were looking for a small ( only 13 rooms), friendly boutique hotel in a central location , & the hotel Le Isole ticked all the boxes. Firstly it's located in a small quiet street bordered by a little canal only two minutes level walking distance from the San Zaccaria Vaporetto stop, & less than five minutes walk from San Marco square. Making it ideal for visiting all the tourist hot spots, but far enough away to escape the crowds. Before we arrived I contacted the hotel to advise we would be quite late getting to them & got an immediate reply thanking us for letting them know & confirming that reception would expect us at the later check in time. On arrival we were met by a charming lady on reception who welcomed us & advised that we had been given a room up grade & a bottle of sparkling wine in our room, as it was our wedding Anniversary. The room was perfect , spotlessly clean, comfortable & well appointed with balconies on opposite sides giving views over the canal in both directions. In addition to the usual satellite t.v , en-suite bathroom with toiletries & tea/coffee, the room also had a Laptop size safe & a mini bar with soft drinks, water & beer. Both again included in the price. There is a small breakfast room/bar next to reception that serves help yourself continental fare , as well as bacon & eggs cooked fresh to order. & free afternoon tea.

Great location in Venice

Posted Jan 10, 2017
Pros: I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff and the location.
Location: The location was ideal and close to St. Mark's Square, Doge Place, and many restaurants, and shopping. It is an easy and short walk to the sights!
I booked Hotel Le Isole based on the excellent reviews that I had read and it did not disappoint! The hotel staff could not have been any nicer. The location was ideal and very close to St. Mark's Square, Doge Place, and many restaurants, and shopping. It is also close to the San Zaccaria vaporetto stop which meant less time dragging our luggage around cobbled streets! The room itself was comfortable. I appreciated that we could open the windows to let in fresh air. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. I also liked the slippers that they provided and ended up using those slippers throughout my time in Europe. The complimentary breakfast provided a nice variety of items to choose from. I would definitely stay at Hotel Le Isole again if I return to Venice.

Perfect location. Fantastic hotel.

I would definitely return to this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Right across the street (small canal) from a great restaurant, and about three minutes away from the San Marks Square. If that wasn't enough, it is also right by the waterbus station. Honestly, I don't think location could be any better. Clean and cozy. Only minor complaint was the pillows were very flat. But if that's all I can complain about, it must have been great. But waking up every morning to breakfast was a very nice touch. The woman who works the breakfast area was very good at her job and would make scrambled eggs, bacon, and cappuccinos everyday.

Great hotel in Venice

Posted Nov 3, 2016
A very wonderful hotel with an excellent staff and good location on a side canal leading to the Grand Canal. The room was a nice size with great charm. The breakfast was outstanding with eggs made to order. The hotel itself is located a short distance from San Marco square with a lot of shops and eating places close by. As mentioned the staff was great, offering advice on places to see, how best to get there and places to eat.

Cute boutique hotel

We loved our stay at Le Isole hote! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great location. Everything in the mini bar was complimentary which was really nice as a bottle of water could cost 2 euro in Venice. The breakfast that Elena made was amazing :) we would definitely come back!
