Good location, bad rooms

Good location in a nice neighborhood, but the room was disgustingly over-perfumed (to cover up the smell of the canals in summertime), and the beds were worn out. There also was paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling, the shower didn't drain, and the room could be cleaner. Luckily the A/C worked, but still didn't keep mosquitos from coming into the bathroom. The espresso machine in the restaurant was good. This hotel is a good choice if you don't spend much time in the room.
