Excellent location and good cocktail Bellini!Posted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: Location, breakfast and bar
Cons: The pillows where sooooo hard but I would stay there again hehe
Location: Great location, easy to get in and out of Veneza
This hotel is really convenient as it's near the ferrovia (train station) if you arrive by train. It is also close to the main bridge which connects Veneza to the main land and if you have heave bags like i had you can pay $5 for someone to carry the bags for you over the bridge (the bridge is made of stairs!). Veneza is small and easy to get around. You can drop you bags at the hotel and jump in the ferry which is also next door to the hotel to visit Piazza San Marco. I personally wouldn't recommend you to get a hotel at the Piazza San Marco because it's not easy to get there by boat with bags unless you pay a private water taxi (cost was around $140 euro!) The hotel bar has a Happy Hour from 5.30 to 8pm and you can enjoy a beautiful Bellini while you watch the boats coming and going. You have to pay for the drink and the aperitivo is free!

Nice hotel. Great location.Posted Jul 20, 2015
Excellent location. On the grand canal. , near restaurants, shops and train. Hotel front desk was very strict on room check in at 3:00. This was hard since a lot of got there in the am. All other staff were outstanding.

Posted Jun 24, 2015

Cons: The staff at the front desk.
Location: Near the train station, the water taxi and the Grand Canal.
The room was large and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a wonderful shower and plenty of space. Everything was very clean and the linens and towels were bright white. We were very pleased with our stay. The only downside was that the front desk staff weren't very friendly and seemed annoyed when they had to answer a question or help you check in. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel. The location can't be beat. It is just a 5 minute walk from the train station and located on the Grand Canal of Venice. We enjoyed walking all over the cobblestone streets and visiting the local restaurants and shops. Venice is amazing! It was the highlight of our trip.

Hübsches, etwas altmodisches Hotel in BahnhofsnähePosted Jun 13, 2015
Schönes großes Zimmer. Nettes Personal.

Posted May 6, 2015 on Hotels

Nice Hotel - staffs were not too friendlyPosted Apr 30, 2015 on Hotels
Pros: sizeable hotel with full amenities (restaurant, bar, outdoor seating area). Location near train station and near dozens of shops and cafes, which was good (on the other hand, it was a long walk from St Marc’s Square, the central area of town). Decent size room, overlooking the waterways. Decent service. Excellent entrees for dinner. Cons: Much of the hotel, which beautiful, felt old and outdated, like it hadn’t been maintained (older carpet, rusted metal above the bathroom sinks, etc). Service: Not as nice as the attendants in our other two hotels, in Rome and Florence. More the feel of a big hotel, slightly cold and distant. Restaurant, while the food was good, charged us $12 for room service. Ouch. When we complained that we were never told the charge, the manager came out and met us in the hall to argue – basically admitting they needed to communicate it better, but saying it was our responsibility anyhow. (The night before they only charged us $6, but it’s per person). Is $6 really that important to what should be an international hotel. So instead of a 8, we’re giving it a 7. They still have some work to do.
