The Hotel is located in a convenient location and is very quiet. Rooms were tidy but a bit noisy. Breakfast was great.
Booked a "economy room" via hotels.com, where the hotel is listed as property with "Gold Members Exclusives". This includes a free bottle of wine per stay and a room upgrade subject o availability.
None of these were offered, despite availability on the website on hotels.com. This was very dissapointing, since that was also part of the reason we booked here.
Check in was smooth, we were offered late checkout unti 1 pm and offered us a welcome drink later. Unfortunately, the toilet in the room was not working. We left the hotel to explore the city for a couple of hours, the staff told us that they will check. When we returned, the toilet was still not working. The staff who checked us in was not there yet, the other hotel staff did not know about the problem. Clearly, nothing was communicated. Instead of offering us another room, we were told that technicians would come tomorrow and hinted that we could use the toilet in the lobby. This is just unacceptable. When I pressed to get another room, finally we were offered one. There was no apology whatsoever.
Oh, and of course, the promised welcome drink was not offered.
The Economy room was spacious and clean, but is located at ground level just next to the lobby and bar, so it is quite noisy.
WiFi was not working.
Good varieaty and quality, the highlight!
