This was a great hotel which wasn't far from St Mark's Square. The staff were helpful and the room was quite large.

When we first checked in they said our room was across the canal /bridge but they had a room available right there so we were able to check out each room and went with the convenience of the hotel one. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The Liassidi is a wonderful place for a Venice break. The staff are wonderful and the rooms generous. We have never had a bad experience.

The staff was very kind and offered suggestions for bars and places to go. They set us up with a water taxi for a day trip to Murano and back to the airport. My only complaint would be that our room was rather warm with no way to cool it down besides opening a window. We were on the canal so it was rather noisy with the window open. Otherwise our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, the court yard was beautiful and I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel and welcoming staff
We loved our stay. The staff were extraordinary, very helpful in making us feel comfortable in a brand new and very different city. Special shout out to Asst Manager Daniele Marzocchi. The breakfast room was lovely, with a nice selection of foods and a view of the canal dei Grecie.The lobby and courtyard where drinks are served is lovely, our room was large and beautifully furnished. It's in a great neighborhood, just a few minutes from St. Mark's but much quieter and hipper.

Be careful… This room was not in the hotel. It was some sort of apartment down the street after you check in at the hotel. Known as the “annex”. Also, I didn’t receive the bottle of wine.

Had to book this property to extend my stay after my flight was rescheduled by the airline for 2 days later! The two gentleman at the front desk were very accommodating and graciously let me into my room early. They made what was a very stressful moment so much more pleasurable. The bed is comfortable, the room large for the area and the staff is friendly and tentative. Would definitely recommend.

This is an excellent hotel, right in the central area with all the restaurants and shopping. The hotel is in very good shape and the staff are very helpful. We stayed here for 3 nights on a family trip. We were given a canal view upgraded room and we had an excellent experience. The staff are always friendly and very efficient. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was beautiful & comfortable. I had a lot of questions re: transportation. Richard & Stephanie were fantastic at getting back to me to answer my questions. The location is fantastic if you're interested in going to St. Mark's Square or Piazza. Lots of great shops, places to eat & places to see. They were able to set up a water taxi to the airport for us. Such a great place, can't wait to stay there again!!!

Front desk staff are friendly breakfast staff a lady rude and arrogant.We came down down for breakfast our first day and experience our worst ever treatment at a hotel ever anywhere in our travels she first questioned whether we had in our stay breakfast included which we did confirmed it at check in. Then she ask us three more times by then she was been rude now our experience become even more unpleasant we ask for coffee and hot tea with a glass with ice before she walk off I ask if they had eggs for a omelette her answer was I ask for drinks and then once I returned I will ask about eggs (a simple yes or not would have been more appropriate) eating a small portion she and the cook we’re talking outside so I approached then and inquired about the ice so they brought it. So we got up and started to walk out of the room she chased us and gave me a paper to signed with a figure of 30 euros which I did signed. We spoke the front desk just to confirm again about our included breakfast which he did and explained to him what took place his answer was a misunderstanding which I said not on our part. He proceeded to said that maybe she had a bad day I couldn’t believe that was a proper was anyone to said especially at the hotel with a four star rating. My final comments are restroom is lousy faucet falling from wall which they fixed cracks on the walls maybe expected but not the mold on the three walls. We will be deducting 30 euros for each days we stayed there except .

Great Visit to Venice.
We had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. We were traveling with our adult children and had three rooms, two of which they allowed us to occupy early when we arrived early at 10:30. Great location. Close to everything, but just far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. Being on a canal allowed the water taxis to pick up and drop off at the font door...a major bonus. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and reasonably updated (without losing the venetian feel). Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit.

The Venice Experience!
Great hotel. The water taxi takes you to the entrance..really Venice. Room is nice. WiFi works. It is also near everywhere to give you The Venice Experience!

My daughter and i were very impressed with this charming old world property. It was a little tricky locating it but that just added to the adventure. The bathroom with its three different walled windows and huge jetted bathtub was fabulous. As well, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay on our next trip to Venice!

Positives- Great location. spacious rooms. Big bathroom. Generally clean. Tea and coffee provisions and safe. Some reception were very helpful. Negatives - very uncomfortable but large bed. They turn the air con off during winter months but still gets very hot in the room and would be good to have the option. Two very rude front desk staff.

Fantastic Boutique Hotel
We booked the Executive Suite and Romantic Suite for a two night stay. Both rooms were fantastic I loved the decor and we made the most of the Jucuzzi baths. The views from the Romantic suite were slightly better. The feel of the romantic suite and its size probably edge it in terms of overall wow factor. Breakfast was of a good standard and we enjoyed drinks in the bar. The staff were friendly and offered advise on restaurants etc. Overall a fantastic hotel within 5 minutes walk of St Marks Square.

Location was a little to the east of the center of it all, which was fine by me but others may not like. Staff was very professional and accessible. The only awkward moment was when we realized the suite we stayed in included a "free taxi ride to the island of Murano" to see the glass blowers. This was something my wife really wanted to see, so we took them up on it. Well, the water taxi came right to the hotel, and delivered us to the dock at Murano, where a gallery owner welcomed us, and personally showed us the ovens and a short demonstration of the skill of one of the local glass blowers. We asked why we were getting such personal treatment, and he replied it was due to his relationship with the hotel. Then he took us "upstairs" to his private gallery and offered us wine and beer, and began a high pressure talk about all the exclusive pieces in his gallery. We felt pressure to buy something, and these pieces had lots of zeros in their price tags, way beyond our ability of desire to buy. We had to politely explain to our host that the hotel must have mistaken us for filthy-rich clients just because we stayed in a nice suite. He took us back down to the ground floor, where a hundred other common folk were buying trinkets with two-digit prices, and we bought some inexpensive items and then told the owner we'd like to catch the taxi back to Venice. He got us the boat, which dumped us at a shore dock that was a thirty-minute walk from the hotel.... in the rain.

Very beautiful and located in a wonderful location. The staff was wonderful and the room very clean and updated. Our room was not in main building, and when not familiar with surroundings, not being located next to a lobby can seem uneasy. HOWEVER, it was so close and being in that building made you feel more like you owned your own apartment in Venice. We definitely would stay again, and look forward to coming back to Beautiful Italy again!

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to St. Marco's Square. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The hotel has its own dock for water taxis and you do not have to carry your luggage along stony street. Breakfast is nice too, especially high-quality cakes they have every day.
