A very nice stay

The location is a little hard to find in all the twisting streets of Venice. It didn't help that Expedia didn't have the hotels actual address on our paperwork. The young lady that works the front desk is very nice, speaks English well and has lots of good recommendations for where to go and where to eat. She was also very helpful with showing us how the boat system and times work.
The lobby while small looks just as pictured. Our room was just as pictured and very clean. It, like a lot of hotels in Italy, actually had 2 twin beds that had been pushed together to form 1 double bed. A little small for my 6'2 husband, but comfortable, we hardly noticed the seam between mattresses. While the hotel is across from a noisy restaurant/bar, being on the 3rd floor we barely heard them at all. The staff was very nice and after we mentioned we were there on our honeymoon, we came back to find a wonderful little cake waiting for us! Everything in Venice is a little outdated, but our stay here was nice. There is no elevator and the stairs are a little narrow, though we used backpacks for our travel so didn't have to worry about suitcases. If you like seafood the restaurant they suggested to us was very good and we would go back. I would stay here again, even if it is a little off the beaten path, it's still in a good location and easy to get to the other areas from there. We did not pay for the breakfast, preferring to stop at the nearby bakers.
