Avoid room 3

Posted Mar 6, 2017
Nice hotel in good location but room 3 is just beside breakfast area and we were woken every morning at 5.45am as the staff prepared breakfast - real shame as this spoilt an otherwise lovely hotel - CHECK you are not getting allocated this room when you book

Cons: all very good

Close to the bus and train terminals...quiet

Posted Dec 31, 2016
The great thing about this hotels location is that it's a short walk from the train and bus terminals and away from the highly congested tourist ways, which makes it a great place for quiet rest and makes you feel a little more like a local. The walk to San Marco square takes about 25 minutes, via the Accademia bridge, but at Christmas time, it's a beautiful walk with plenty of Christmas lights. Having lived in Northern Italy before and having visited Venezia more than 30 times in the past, it brought back a lot of old memories. The hotel is great (although there are about 2 flights of stairs you have to climb to get there), but the service and staff are great and the breakfast is more than adequate. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Comfortable, friendly and great value

Posted Nov 1, 2016 on Hotels
Exceptional hotel in a quiet part of Venice, but within easy reach of all of the city's attractions. The Actv Piazzale Roma terminus is close by, and this system is a great way of getting around the city. The apartments are spacious, comfortable and quiet. Being very close to the station and bus terminus, it has easy access by porter service, which, if you have heavy luggage, is a necessity in Venice. The breakfast provided with the room was of a very high standard.

Old World Charm

Posted Sep 26, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel had a beautiful old world feel to it that we thoroughly enjoyed. It sits on the canal and is easy access to everything without being in the middle of tourist centre. Our only challenge was the number of stairs to our lovely room with a view on the top floor (no elevator).
