Excellent, Very CentralPosted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: Everything. We up graded as it was our honeymoon and we couldn't have wished for a nicer room.
Location: This is very central, right on the Grande Canal, equal distance to the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square.
We visited Venice on our honeymoon and were very impressed with the hotel. The room was beautiful, very good location and the staff were lovely. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great location for easy access to all areas.Posted Oct 3, 2015
Cons: Less tables in dining room
Location: Great access to all major attractions.
Celebrating a "big" birthday. Arrived at hotel to be upgraded to a junior suite and also a complimentary bottle of bubbly from hotel to help celebrate. Hotel has public vaparetto stop right outside (line 1) covered all areas of Grande Canal. Breakfast served from 7.00 - 10.00 which allowed for a slow start to the day, good selection of hot and cold food. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Fabulous !Posted Sep 10, 2015
Pros: Location, comfort, staff
Cons: The breakfast room could be considered cosy, but this an old palazzo after all and not a new, purpose-built hotel.
From start to finish the whole Palazzo Sant'Angelo experience was fabulous. We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and could not have chosen better. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a beautiful suite with a balcony that had a fantastic view over the Grand Canal, an ideal spot to watch the Regatta Storica! And so easy to get around Venice with a waterbus stop close by.

A beautiful hotel right on the Grand canalPosted Sep 8, 2015
This is a beautiful hotel right on the grand canal. We had a well furnished suite overlooking the canal with brilliant photo book views of the canal and down to the Rialto bridge. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful; nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The hotel is well positioned with approximately a 10 minute walk either to St. Mark's Square or to the Rialto bridge. Breakfast gave a good selection of food and is served in a small but very pleasant breakfast room. The public rooms are luxurious, again with superb views of the Grand canal. The hotel has a small patio at the front, with tables overlooking the canal and the hotel jetty for taxi arrivals and departures. The water bus stop is very close to the hotel.

Easy, after a long journey!Posted Sep 3, 2015
Pros: Close to transport.
Location: Close to everything Venice
Pleasant hotel right on the canal. Easy to get to with your luggage as there is a station right outside. Beware of the public transport though as a peace officer will surely ticket you if you buy a ticket for one carrier but mistakenly get on the others boat. They don't give a rats *ss where you are from...65 euros fine each! The hotel was clean enough and the staff accomodating. Typical small breakfast area which is a little too close for me but nice to have it included. Easy walking distance to everything but make sure you have google maps to get back...the place is a maze!

An Oasis of CalmPosted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Everything - I can't think of anything that didn't exceed our expectations!!!!!!
Cons: I can't think of anything - other than I wish it wasn't so far away!
Location: Close to St Marks square, Doge's palace and Rialto Bridge. Easy access to water buses and taxis. Loads of great restaurants and cafes close by.
Venice is amazing - the sights, the food, the wine, the people!!!! The Palazzo Sant' Angelo is as the name says right on the Grand Canal which makes it easy for water taxi transportation to and from the airport and the cruise port. You're dropped off right out from of the hotel. You don't have to wander the narrow streets trying to find it. It is close to everything you want to see in Venice (walking distance to most things on the bucket list) but just outside the tourist frenzy. The room was spacious, clean and had an old world charm!!! The bathroom was modern and clean with 2 sinks and tub with a shower. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble!! The complimentary continental breakfast was just what we needed and as with everything the lobby and breakfast area were immaculate! The hotel has a small bar where they serve Spritz (a must try) and complimentary h'oeuvres. You can watch the boats on the canal from the windows or take your drink and snack outside and sit in front of the hotel. We stayed at the hotel the night before our cruise and then returned for 3 nights after our cruise. Disembarkation from ship was first thing in the morning so our room was not ready when we returned to the hotel at 10:30a.m. Our luggage was stored and put in our room while we toured Venice. When we returned there was a lovely tray of fruits and chilled bottle of prosecco waiting for us. A lovely touch!

Ruhiges zentrales Hotel direkt am Gran CanalePosted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: Lage, Freundlichkeit, relativ große Zimmer, Ruhe in den begrünten Innenhof.
Cons: Fällt mir nichts ein! Und das will etwas heißen;)
Location: Die Lage: direkt an Vaporetto-Station St. Angelo, die sehr ruhig ist. Zentral, sodass fußläufig alles Wichtige erreichbar ist;
