The apartment was great! We even had a view of one of the canals! The only knock I can make against the room is that the second bed had a big gap in it making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep in, and the bathroom was kind of small. The location was pretty convenient.

Wifi was not working during the entire stay. Very expensive for the facility.

Confusing but worth it's!

Slightly confusing that the checking was at another hotel, but the door (once we found it - you'll need to remember the street and the number!) did have clear directions where to go. Staff were helpful and a very enjoyable stay!

Fantastic location and helpful staff.

Posted Oct 22, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: It is in a great location and the room was large and clean. There was a private, ground floor, entrance.
Cons: The bathroom was very tired and difficult to use (it had two doors opening onto each other) and the refrigerator had no access to power.
Location: Near San Marco and the Rialto Bridge - thus close to all main tourist attractions and vaperetto stops.
The staff - both the porter and the reception staff - were very helpful and room service was excellent.

hard to find hotel.

Posted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: location. The room was so horrible, it made us get out and see more of Venice.
Cons: a ground level room is not a good idea when there is aqua altas (high tide). it would be nice to have a functional TV in such a horrible room.
Location: Excellent breakfast bistro/espresso bar within one minute from the door. close to san marco and realto.
The hotel is currently managed by an adjacent hotel across the canal. We were given a dreadful room (former business office) on the ground floor with a window that opened up to the sidewalk, next to a night club. We could hear people entering and leaving the lobby all day (and night long). The hotel's management excuse is that this was the "bargain rate" room and there were no other rooms to remediate the situation. the photos did not match the room and hotel. there is no breakfast terrace and breakfast was not included. This was an expensive hotel that really did not match the description. The bathroom was good and there was a small refrigerator. The bed was a horrible excuse of a Queen size mattress - it was two twins stuck next to each other. It took 45 minutes to find the hotel, as it lacks signage on the exterior and the entrance street is less than 3 feet wide. In the morning you could look up and see peoples laundry hanging above the entrance, nice. The fabric panels in the room were extremely musty.

We were placed in overflow section of hotel which is separate from main. It was difficult to find and gps kept dropping out. Unable to open shutters so room was always dark, could hear noise from motor boats on canal, bells and general passing (walking) traffic. Fridge did not work, shower drainage very slow. Breakfast good as was breakfast staff. Friends room so small they didn't have anyway to place their bags. Suggest stay a little further from San Marco square.

Rude staff and run down venue

Posted Sep 6, 2015
Paint flaking off of all the walls, power sockets hanging from the wall and the couch had been left covered in dirt. The staff: they rolled their eyes every time you asked a simple question. They were completely unhelpful on all occasions. There were too busy stuffing their faces with pastries from the breakfast buffet in the main foyer then to offer any assistance. The only positive would be the location. Directly between St Marks square and the Rialto bridge.
