We stayed in a very charming and comfortable room with a private bath. We liked the location on a quiet street. Breakfast was delicious. The owners were lovely people. We would definitely stay here again.

EXCELLENT experience! The hosts Esmeralda and Mario are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. They reached out to me shortly after booking our stay with options on how to get from the airport to the hotel. We arrived after the sun set and Mario met us at the boat dock to lead us to the hotel. It probably would have taken us 5 times as long had it not been for that. It’s not easy to find if you’re not familiar with the area. At breakfast Mario gave us restaurant and site recommendations which were all excellent. The only slightly negative would be the shower was small but I expect that is the case with all of Venice. Thank you Mario and Esmeralda for a wonderful experience.

The hosts were very warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. Their recommendations for dining options around the property turned out to be some of the best places we dined in Venice. The hosts ensured our stay was comfortable. It was great to have breakfast included and the choices were very good. The only reasons why our rating is 4 is because of the very small bathroom, especially the shower which barely had standing space for an adult, and some dampness around the external walls and windows.

The property doesn’t have the sign of their name but the owner was really nice to give the guidance hot to reach the property and the room was so clean only you need to share the bathroom with other people. I like the cleanness of the room and the owner was really nice and helpful.

Perfect quiet location near restaurants and Grand Canal. The hosts Mario and Esmeralda serve a nice breakfast and will recommend transportation for excursions and good places to eat.

Straight away from arrival we were made to feel at home. Elena greeted us and gave us a full run down of the city, providing the best spots to see, both touristy and non touristy. Myself and my friend who were sharing the room had a lovely conversation with Elena the second morning about growing up in Venice and the lifestyle that is led there, all super interesting and lovely to talk about, giving us a better feel for the city. The B&B is very characteristic, truly felt like we were staying in a family home making our stay very comfortable. I really have no negatives to say, other than maybe the breakfast could have more options for different dietary requirements, however even then Elena offered to to get my vegan friend some extra goodies in the morning. Will recommend to both family and friends and if ever I am back in the city this is for sure the place I will visit. Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay.

Mario & Esmerelda were perfect hosts. Great communication as soon as we booked,offering us directions & information on how best to travel from the airport & also around Venice. They provided us with a continental breakfast each morning which was included in the price. Location was fab and central to every where we waned to be. The room was spacious, clean & had tea & coffee facilities which was an added bonus after a day of sight seeing. We only wish we could of stayed longer!

The property was very well located. Mario the owner was great. He was so helpful. He came to meet us at the waterbus stop even if we were more than four hours later than expected due to flight delays. He was an exceptional host who made great efforts in obtaining food for my daughter with dietary restrictions. Mario also provided us with valuable information and directions which made our stay in Venice very enjoyable.

Mario is a great host, he looked after us well including meeting us at the water bus to lease us to the residence. He was always willing to guide us thru the ins and outs of walking in Venice and sites to see and places to eat etc. We recommend him to anyone seeking a nice place to stay

Mario was an excellent host who began communicating with me about a week before our arrival. He gave us wonderful recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants and easy ways to get to the airport as we stayed with him at the end of our trip. We had a room with three beds for us and our two adult children. Breakfast was delicious with a personalized choice of croissants, juice, coffee, yogurt and an assortment of breads and spreads. We had an easy walk to Rialto and other major areas. Pack light if you haven’t been to Venice! Lots of walking, stairs and bridges.

It was such a pleasure to stay at this B&B and Mario made our experience in Venice 10x greater. The list of tips he gave us made it easier to see the sites we wanted to visit and enjoy the authentic food Venice has to offer. Additionally, we genuinely felt the care Mario and his family has for their guests. We had the honour of having breakfast served to us by him and his daughter Elena and they made us feel very welcome and comfortable. They took the time out of their busy schedules to talk and hang out with us. Overall, our stay was nothing short of amazing and was an experience we will cherish forever. Grazie mille!

Venice is a very expensive city to stay in and as first time visitors who are physically fit and able to walk, we chose to book a B and B both for the central location and possibility of meeting local residents. While the property was difficult to locate in the dark the owner, Marco was waiting at the front door for us even though we were late due to train delays. The rooms was small but very clean and we enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning and the chance to speak with the owners, Marco and Esmeralda, who are both very knowledgeable and multi lingual. They were a terrific resource for exploring their home city. If you want a local experience and are fit enough to carry your luggage over several bridges and through the narrow alleyways of Venice to get to the property, then you will be welcomed with open arms and get to sample Venice as a local.

Mario is an excellent host. Gave us information and directions to his BnB ahead of time. He kept our luggages way before check-in,Lent us an adaptor for our cellphone charger. We love the pistacchio cream he spread on our croissants for breakfast. Its not a big breakfast but enough to get us going. I even saw Mario helped a couple with their luggages to their mode of transport. Mario and Esmeraldas property got a Venetian character/charm yet modern, clean facilty, Close to restaurants, souveneir shop, gelatos, Rialto bridge, grand canal and squares. Will definitely recommend.
