Great location for seeing sights, roof terrace was a great space. Guest relations (Frederico) was very knowledgeable and a great help. Rooms were a good size and beds comfortable. Rooms were very clean. Great coffee shops and restaurants within 2 minutes walk. Would definitely return to this property.

Because of the age of the hotel, they did not run the air conditioning. Although they were "Sorry" because they could only run the system in Heat or Cooling, I witnessed MANY of the guest complaining. In our Junior suite which was above one of the waterways, we had the "non-screened" windows open and discovered that the mosquitos were rather hungry, and the 5 am hotel supply and trash providers were quite noisy on the water below. Our experience trying to get a good nights sleep was not possible due to the heat, noise and mosquitos. I would recommend an upgraded alternate hotel until this one can figure out how to provide comfortable temperatures for ALL the guests and not have to run either heating or cooling to please the majority.
