Loved the room, much nicer and cheaper than thè Marriott down the road. The only issue I had was when i checked in at 4pm. I was told my room wasnt ready, and they would call me when it was ready. 2 hours later, still no phone call.by 6pm i was just getting my room. Other than that. Awesome stay.
A comfortable bed & room in Ventura with a great view of the sunset. An easy walk to all the restaurants & plenty of choices for dining. The hotel is next to the 101 & an active train track so pack earplugs.
Stayed in a room with ocean view and patio. The “ocean view” was partial at best with most of the view overlooking a cement public parking complex. The patio furniture was old rusted metal with no padding. We expected more at this price point. There was dualling pianos playing on the main floor and the sound proofing was inadequate. Even with ear plugs 6 floors up, I could hear the words to the songs being sung. The area in front of the hotel was lovely but you are not allowed outside food or drink. Would not return or recommend.
We loved the piano bar. They were an excellent addition to our holiday celebration and family get together. Our stay was comfortable and very enjoyable.
I enjoyed the cleanliness and the fire pit and being close to ocean. I appreciated getting into our room a little early.
However I could hear all the traffic and the noise of people slamming doors. The place needs sound proofing for a good nights rest.
The crowne plaza is a great hotel for beach access with ocean views easy walk to shopping dinning and bars. The bed was very comfortable and our stay was quite. We will go back.
The hotel is right next to the beach, very close to downtown Main Street. It is very closed to the botanical garden, mission. There are quite a few dinning option nearby. The only complaints is the noise. You can hear people open, close doors, walking near your room.
This is a nice hotel overall but what we like the most is the location. Right in front of the beach with access to the boardwalk and few blocks from the Main st.
Great location and quality hotel. Room was clean, comfortable and appreciated the courtesy of staff. After a long day of travel I was still able to get a decent meal in my room for dinner (roughly same price as a door dash option). Only downside was the cost of parking on site. $18 to park overnight with an empty parking lot seemed overkill.
Easy access to the beach. Everything was clean inside the hotel and staff was very nice. Comfy beds and nice linens. Off season is a great time to visit. Better prices and no crowds.
