Outdated, dirty, overpriced! I felt as if I had walked into a retirement home - the decor was gross. My room was smelly and damp. The handicapped shower was broken and I had to shower camping style while holding the shower handle over my head in a cramped dark shower with no place to put soap other than the floor - not very useful for disabled. There was black mold on the wall of the shower and if you closed the curtain it was dark and not too safe. There were no towel racks near the sink only a tiny glass shelf that was actually in the way. Dirty, damp and smelly. The room had no bedspread on the lumpy bed, just sheet and blanket - pull out sofa bed only had sheet. Free breakfast was stale pastries, gross waffle iron being used constantly so you couldn't get a waffle unless you had hours to wait....Not worth the money at all! I felt it was overpriced and very overrated! I challenge the handicap experts to examine that room for proper set up. This place is a 1 maybe 2 star at best! Oh and the pool was being redone and construction behind the place! I felt ripped off! We left after first nite and found a better place.

Almost everything you need in a hotelPosted Aug 19, 2015
Close to restaurants, hospitals, and freeway. Love the kitchen which included a full size refrigerator /freezer,dishwasher,toaster,and dishes. Lots of cabinet space and even had dish soap so I could wash my dishes. It felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. Not only did I have my own room which included t.v. but my room had a living room with a sofa sleeper and t.v. too. The hotel also had free wifi and more than one router so everyone is not using the same one. Now the negatives. There is no swimming pool,no vending machines (for that late night snack in a pinch) the excerise room is just a old school treadmill, a eliptical machine that felt awkward, and a excerise bike. There were no weights. There is no restaurant in the hotel and the continental breakfast was just ok.

Nothing to rave aboutPosted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: The location, staff and nice size refrigerator
Cons: The cleanliness of the rooms and opening up the pool.
Location: Shopping, beach, Ventura harbor
Not that great of a stay. The staff were lovely, but our room had a weird smell and wasn't very clean. Also the pool is still under construction, which totally sucks. I wouldn't recommend.

Good room for the price.Posted Aug 2, 2015 on Hotels
We enjoyed the stay. the mattress seemed like it needed to be replaced and so does the carpet. otherwise everything was overall great.

Good Value but currently no poolPosted Jul 26, 2015 on Hotels
good value but used to have pool/patio/playground but now just a dirt pit out back. not sure of future plans. Don't bother packing a bathing suit.

Good price in a newer area. Everything I needed as a tourist passing thru.

will not stay ever again. the cost are inflated for this type of room. I expected much better. even breakfast was marginal. this is just a step up from motel 6.. like just 1.
