Welcoming stay

Our stay at this location was greatly enhanced by the warm welcoming of Maddy at the front desk. She accommodated us with our special needs with a smile and gave us more options to choose from which was refreshing. The staff at the hotel was always courteous and respectful towards us.

Quiet hotel just to get away for the night. Nice beds. Front staff seemed a little frazzled (unorganized) but other than that hotel was nice.

Clean Hotel

Pros: Service is good. Room is very clean. Breakfast is good.
Cons: Curtain should be close all the way!
Location: There are lot of place to eat and shop nearby the hotel.
Overall my room was very nice and clean. I was not happy with my room because of the room structures. 1. King side bedrooms have no tubs. 2. The bedroom curtains can be close all the way. So you will see the light from the car on the freeway and early sunshine. 3. Thin wall. You can hear noise from the hallway very well.

Clean room

They placed us in an incorrect room, then what we paid for. The problem was quickly fixed.

Location: Very near relatives.
It served our purpose well. Breakfast was ample, but food got cold...suggest hotter food.

Disappointed

Pros: rooms are decent
Cons: Have maintenance people work on the weekend
Location: location is good - near the outlet and lots of restaurants around
Lights in bathroom not working and nobody came to fix even after manager promised so. First time stay and probably last. Breakfast area messy - tables not clean and crumbs on the carpet. I guess nobody works on Sunday!

Accommodations Excellent - Eggs cold

Used this hotel many times for both business and pleasure on the past 10 years. Was particularly impressed with the upgrades. Service impeccable. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Why didn't I give it an Excellent across the board? Downside: Breakfast --- eggs and potatoes noticably cold. Well...hardly room temp. And we ate at 6:15am, just minutes after the beginning of breakfast service. Now I wonder what the "hot" food was like at 8:00 or 9:00 am?? However, on the plus side, the waffles with syrup were quite enjoyable, along with the fruits and beverages. I'm sure there was a good explanation as to why we didn't experience at least warm food that generally comes from heated food service containers. Would we stay there again? ABSOLUTELY!!! One small, cool egg will not determine whether I will ever sleep at the Camarillo Hampton again.

Clean and cozy hotel. Staff was friendly and easily approachable. The main course for breakfast was different on each day which is great so that you would not get tired of the food.

Smiling staff

There were several large family gatherings staying at the hotel, our group included. We really got great service from staff, all very friendly and helpful.
