My husband sustained an injury due to the lack of housekeeping in the motel, I reached out to guest services and was told there was no management on site so to just send out an email. I contacted corporate and they had me leave a voicemail. I stayed there for almost a week! Worse customer service ever!

The staff was very nice. The hotel is very run down and dated. There is not even a sign on the outside of the hotel! The bed linens and towels were clean, but the surfaces in the room were not clean nor dusted. The general area was not very inviting being next to the highway. Staff gets 5 stars, hotel overall 2 stars.

Upon checking in went to my room once I opened it there’s a stinky smell like urine and the bathroom tub is with mold stain and the furniture was dirty since while disinfecting them the wipes turned black! And no towels provided. So I went to the front desk asked for towels the response of Illana front desk clerk was “ I’m sorry we ran out of towels “ I traveled frequently never had encountered a hotel ran out of towels .I deserved to get refunded with what I paid them! Never spent even 10 minutes in the room and checked same hour of checking in . Don’t ever come to this horrible place not sanitary

We stayed here last minute for 1 night. The place is run down, walkways & stairs are dirty. The room had a smell & the sink would get clogged. Will not stay here again!

I didnt like the fact that all the concrete around premises is dirty and stained. The musky smell inside the unit. The shower was terribly stained.

The staff was nice, the breakfast was good and the temperature control was good but the room smelled heavily of disinfectant/deodorizer, the hot water in the bathroom sink was disabled and the shower drain was badly backed up and there was a stain on the comforter so it had a kind of icky feeling...

I took my dog out before bed time and noticed that there were some odd people walking around at night. They seemed like homeless people and it made it feel sketchy. In the morning I also saw a couple in the property and I really didn’t like that.

The property is absolutely nothing like what they’ve advertised. Every step to our room was a new obstacle, from old caution tape blocking the walkway to holes in the carpet. We are so close to the freeway that we can feel the vibrations and hear the active traffic. People are outside our room partying. It smells like mold. There is grime on the walls. I don’t know how Wyndham can sell this place as if it’s a resort. It’s a dirty walk up motel on the 101, and they charged me nearly $200 for the inconvenience. There are not enough pillows to cover our heads to drown out the noise, so it’s going to be a sleepless night. Exactly NOT what I paid for.

This hotel is very old and "broken down". The only plus is the front desk staff. No housekeeping unless requested. Heat did not work at all (cold night). Plenty of water pressure in bath but not more than a trickle in the shower. Wife couldn't rinse the shampoo our of her hair. Dirty sheets were on the bed when we checked in. Night manager personally came to change the sheets -- he was great. The breakfast was blah. The grounds were littered with dog poop. No one is cleaning it up. The poop station near our room had no bags. That's about it.

The place was very dirty & dusty. The full size mirror was dirty as if someone popped their pimple and left all that yuck there. The room phone was so dusty seems like they don’t fully clean throughly, the lamps were very dirty and dusty. To finish it off I forgot my hair straightener in the room, didn’t realize I had left it behind till couple days after when I wanted to do my hair so I called the front desk and they said they didn’t find anything or no one reported any left behind items. It seems like the place is very poorly run.

We were in 3 different rooms bc of a broken heater, malfunctioning refrigerator, in the 2nd room , it flooded from a stuffed up toilet. The drainage was horrible in all 3 rooms. The staff was accommodating and the manager was good. She comped us 2 free nights.

Manager and staff are helpful but mechanics in the building are very poor. We had 3 different rooms in 1 week due to malfunctioning heater, broken refrigerator. 2nd room toilet overflowed, the last room the sink is not draining

I’ve stayed here many times and it’s always nice. Rooms are clean, they always have a great staff and are always accommodating. Since I am from Ventura originally I know the area well and would say the area is safe and the hotel is in a decent spot near anything you’d need. Highly recommend, they also allow dogs so it’s our go to when we come back home to visit with our pups.

My husband and I have stayed here a few times while visiting family. It’s always been comfortable enough so that we keep coming back. The staff is also great! Our room had a couple of small issues this time (including a barking dog next door, which wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and a bathroom door that didn’t quite close properly, and occasionally smelling like cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room- the first time we have ever had that issue here) so we asked to be moved. They were so quick and friendly in helping us get another room which solved the issues! We’re grateful this place is close to family so we have this option to make our visits more comfortable.

Worst stay
I normally stay here when I come into town or when evacuated due to rain in my area. This was the first time I stay in a suite. The room 303 was filthy, and smelled horribly. Phone wires/wall box that should have been on the wall, was on the floor, under the table. The fans had a thick layer of dirty/dust, the ceiling fans and lights weren’t work properly. This made the room very dark. The carport had large poop stains. We left one window that opened, open to keep the smell down. There was no screen, so I had to be cautious of anyone get to close because it was a 3rd floor suite. Room service never came to the room even when asked for. When I asked for towels or assist, I was meet with young women who gave me excuses on why they couldn’t help me. The excuses responses where: why I didn’t ask earlier, they don’t have anyone to help me, or we will see what we can do. There was a man who was helpfully with mounting the wire box back on the wall and help me with a stuck exit door. I was traveling with my blind mother, two granddaughters, and our yorkie. I paid an extra $75 for my dog and expect the fee to cover having a clean carpet area for my family and dog. When I asked were the dog area was no one seemed to know. After a walk around the site, I found two areas clearly mark for dogs and it’s on the room map. The breakfast was an issue also well. They where out of many items, even regular sugar was out. The young women who was working there area, spent time more time eating.
