We found the hotel with a good presentation but when we entered the room they had cockroaches running around the room and we decided better to retire

Front desk person was friendly and efficient. Room smelled awful and we traced the stinky sour bile smell to an area on the bedspread. Removed spread and asked front desk to take it out of the room, but not before the stench had got onto my husband’s clothes that he had to wear to an event. When we returned after the event the smell lingered in the room and it was difficult to sleep. Also the headboard of the bed had two big areas sticky to the touch where we assume many peoples’ heads had been. One of the grossest motel rooms we’ve ever experienced.

AWFUL customer service!!! Don’t waste your money on this place! Front desk was extremely rude! We weren’t greeted when we arrived. The lady at the front desk was then very rude because I arrived 20 min early for my check in time. So I waited patiently. Then when it was time to check in she continued to be rude. I talked with other guest and they all had a similar experience. I regret staying here. I would of left but it was thanksgiving night and there was no other place to stay!!

Fast check in & friendly staff
Check in was fast and simple thanks to using hotels.com! After check in I needed assistance in my room and I was helped immediately. AC system worked great but whoever was staying above my room had heavy feet, sounded like a child.

Staff was excellent, price good but condition of the building and rooms were poor at best. Obvious the owners do reinvest any profits back into the business. Card reader on room door was broken, back door to the parking lot was busted open and would not close (safety issue), tv remote did not work, and toothbrush stick in sink drain. My biggest complaint Is that the entry light was motion sensitive and every time you went you to the restroom it triggered and stayed on for 10 minutes. The light is extremely bright and lights up the room so you can’t get back to sleep until it goes off. Staff was really helpful and considerate. I give them a A and the hotel a C-.

Omg Maria front desk is rude judgemental and was trying to say I smoked weed in my room which is a lie I dont smoke weed at all I think its just her way to try and keep my deposit everytime I stay there she always has something to say too try and keep my deposit. Well she just made this hotel lose a lot of business. Ive told ppl about her and now there booking elsewhere. She needs to get hired. And I never complain about rooms but there always dirty i stay there cause SP is my hometown born and raised.

no tv frist day, mgr installed new box for tv but only 1 station came on no remote we didn't use tv , they need to make ready list and check all rooms before they rent them all nice and clean swimming pools and spa , no ice machine broken, was a ok place , employee check room after explained issues after frist day very nice person offered us could change rooms but we were ok with the room and already set up for only one more day

The place is OK, for a cheap hotel, but don't expect much in terms of the service. We asked twice for extra pillows and they never arrived. The bathroom was clean but the towel hanger was broken, as was one of the lights. They do clean the room every day, but they have not washed the carpets in a long time and they are stained. The side door to the motel will not work with the room key. The place is conveniently located: close to Ventura and Ojai.

It was the worst hotel ever, smells really bad, the beds are Old, and there is not key for the rooms, everytime that you need to enter to the room you need to ask and some lady takes you to the room

Security seemed unusally tight thry insisted on ID for both paeties even though just booked under my name, insisted they check the room prior to my leaving etc. I felt very "watched" although comfort and relaxation levels were meh?

Possibly the best and cheapest options for a stay in Santa Paula. Great service, clean rooms, and plenty of restraints and convince stores nearby. Only issue I found was a couple wall electrical sockets didn't work properly. Highly consider staying here the next time you're visiting Santa Paula. Make sure to book well in advance as they are often sold out of rooms.

if everything is booked and you cant cancel the trip but still want to make something happen, then book it. its kinda dirty and you need sandals to walk on carpet around house. some rooms look like people have been living there. Not a romantic getaway, but definatley a basic basic basic options to enjoy Ojai if your looking just for a roof over your head at night.
