What I liked about this hotel is definitely the location. Very close to everything in the Centro Historico area and other areas as well.
The staff was very pleasant and attentive, prompt to help.
Dislikes: The staff does not speak English . We did not find any of the staff members to speak English which is disappointing, especially for a hotel that is in the center of a touristic area.
The building is old and I want to say on the somehow neglected side. The windows in our room were not clean from the inside, never mind the outside. One of the windows was replaced with some sort of white plastic, which did not allowed you to see anything. Although this was a master suite we did not have a mini fridge, and the coffee maker was not working, we called to have it replaced which they did, however, they did not provided us with more coffee.
The night we arrived the shower and sink were clogged we told the front desk about it and they sent the maintenance guy to fixed it.
They have a restaurant on the second floor. We went to have breakfast and were not greeted, the hostess was on the phone and ignored us as well as the waitstaff. We waited and finally someone came to "help us" but by then we were on the way out.
So next time we will not be staying in that hotel.
