The staff are very friendly. The only down side was the room didn't get finished being cleaned after the first night. They emptied the garbage and took dirty towels, but the bed was left unmade and clean towels not replaced. Luckily we had plenty of towels in the bathroom.

Came to the area for a Drill Team Competition chose to stay at the Dinosaur Inn because we had stayed here a few years ago and some of the other properties were feeling off grateful for the king and two queen option and the beds were super comfortable my husband didnt snore! Breakfast was also pretty good everyone was amazingly friendly too

Probably the biggest disappointment of our 5 week honeymoon was the 4 nights here. We arrived a few hours early as the weather was terrible and asked if we could check in early but was told the room wasn't ready but they would call us as soon as it was. We weren't offered anywhere safe to put our luggage while we looked around town while waiting so we just sat in the car for almost 3 hours waiting for a call that never came. Went back to the office to find the young lady with her feet up on the desk struggling to get off her phone for long enough to check us in. No appology for not calling, too busy I guess? We got our key and went to the room which interestinghly was right beside where we were parked. NB. never saw anyone come or go from the room the whole time wewere parked there so was it really not ready?? Were never given any instructions for the facilties of the hotel so had to go back to the front desk to find the ice maching which was only accesible during office hours. Do people steal ice around here or something? Had to empty our own trash every day as rooms not serviced daily or even in the 4 night stayed. Trash bin outside the rooms on the walkway wasn't emptied in the 4 days either. It wasn't as if they were busy as we only saw about another 4 or 5 guests during our stay. Very disappointed as we read good reviews about this family owned and operated hotel. Clearly things have changed.

We apologize that you were not happy with your stay. Since we are a family owned and operated motel, we really care and always want our guests to have the best experience possible. This has not changed. We have spoken to the front desk employee who was on duty and reprimanded her. Her behavior was unacceptable. Concerning your room not being serviced, we looked up the housekeeping records for the dates of your stay and your room had a Do Not Disturb sign on it each day. We do housekeeping service everyday but the housekeepers are not allowed to enter a guest's room if the DND is up. Those records also showed that your room was not ready until 3:00 pm for check in. We have always been more than happy to check a guest in early if the room is ready. It makes check in time a little easier for the front desk. We have an employee who empties the trashes everyday at the motel. We checked the cameras, they did empty the outside trashes those days. There are two ice machines. During the winter, the one outside must be winterized because the temperatures are so cold in Vernal but the ice machine in the office is available 20 hours out of the day. The front office is only closed from 1:00 am to 5:00 am.

This place was great for our weekend stay. Conveniently located to everything we came to see in the area. Very personable breakfast experience. Only complaint was I got the king room with sofa bed to have somewhere comfortable to sit and it was worn out. Not comfortable at all. Other than that it was perfect. Price was a steel for what was offered.
