Enjoyed the west-facing side of hotel that looks onto nice trees. Quiet. Window in room opened wide which I love (but no screen). Comfortable armchair. Looked like my room's smoke detector was missing.

The room is nice. The picture window has sheer drapes and took me a while to realize there was a wind down blind to cover it, LOL They just need to tell their guests about this feature.

Check in was a bit of a hassle but it was Expedia’s fault. The lady at the front desk (mornings) was kind and worked diligently to get us checked in. The rooms were FILTHY. Dropped our things off and then went to visit my grandfather in the hospital. When we returned there was a cockroach ON MY PILLOW!! The shower walls look like they had never been scrubbed. There was soap scum, mold, and a bloody booger on them. WEAR FLIP FLOPS, TOUCH NOTHING! No trash can in bathroom. The floor in the room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a good while. Even left a coffee stirrer in the middle of the floor. We paid for 3 nights and got exactly two bath towels and two wash cloths. Tried to exchange them with housekeeping and she didn’t speak a word of English. Didn’t make up the room or exchange the towels in the 3 days we stayed even though we put the card on the door asking them to. Lady at the front desk (evenings) was too busy to exchange towels so we got our own from the closet next to the elevators. I feel like you could get a roach motel for less than what this place costs.

The attendants at the front desk were never at the front desk. Everyone must have been on the same floor as me because all night it was noisy!!! Walls were so thin I could hear people having conversations next door, on both sides of me!!! Some kids got in an argument at 2 am and this went on for an hour. I called the front desk but no answer. Bed was worn and needs to be replaced. The review on the towels is accurate. Not even big enough to wrap around you and they could use some fabric softner!!!

Cheap towels, not enough, no exhaust fan. Mold mildew growing on ceiling, elevator floor buttons not working. No access to simple water in lobby. No early morning coffee. Have to wait for 6 am. Used tobe Country Inn. A lot of deferred maintenance. Painting needed bad. New carpeting. Staff knew about these problems, but owner just ignored.

Not bad for the price: clean and the bed was comfortable. No tissues in the dispenser (someone had put paper towels in it) and when we asked at the desk, they couldn’t find any. Breakfast had only children’s sweet cereals—I rely on raisin bran when traveling—(also the usual eggs toast and bacon).

Stayed 3 Months. They towed my car accidentally thinking it being abandoned. Pot smell 24/7 everywhere! Was on short break from full time working as traveling musician. Nice building but the current management is not corporate but rather local yokal family from east Indian origins. Not about the customer more about appearances of superficial up keep. It's only a matter of time before the place morfs into the Red roof and again local family up keep. The employees are very much the same type. A reflection of managements limitations translating into a rather uncomfortable feeling overall. This is definitely not about even good customer service. Outside people are using the buffet and conference room like it was their own residence.Doors slamming constantly !

ROACHS In our first room the air conditioning didn’t work, switched to a second room, smelled musty but it was late so we stayed. Roach crawled across my sheets that night. Was hoping it was from keeping the window open to air it out. Found three more. Switched rooms for the second night. Floor was covered in pumpkin seeds and peanut insides. Clearly hadn’t had the vacuum run since the last guest. It’s cheap but I’ve stayed at cheaper places that havn’t been this gross.

Dirty Hotel
The room was dirty with a mold smell and the air conditioner had a loud screech. The breakfast eating area downstairs had mouse traps on the floor. There are two hotels right next door, I would recommend staying at one of those.

The breakfast attendant seemed like she didn’t want to be there, wasn’t friendly, and got annoyed when you ask her for items that should be available. She was cleaning around the food with air freshener spray. I had to ask every morning for hot cups and more hot food to be added. She was putting chairs up way before breakfast was supposed to be finished. The over night person Christian was nasty, unhelpful, & very short like we were annoying them by asking if we could add an extra night. I wound up having to book the extra night on line because they were rude and impatient. The mattress was an old spring mattress and the pillows were so old they were lumpy. The cleaning attendants went over and beyond folding the paper towels into roses and the towels were folded into designs. That was appreciated. The room was clean. The woman who checked me in and out at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, patient, & very helpful.
