Worse hotel ever stayed at.

Location: Five minutes from family member that had emergency
The ceiling tiles in the room were falling down and were taped up. There was a hole in the bathroom window. We had no water pressure in the shower and had to get the office manager to fix it. Even after he fixed it and the water pressure improved a little he said that is the best he can do. The toilet kept running all night like someone kept flushing it. The woman that worked there did not understand English. There was not bath tub just a shower and a discussing shower floor. There was a brow stain on the towels and one of the sheets. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The TV and decor were extremely outdated and did not get all the channels. I only stayed here because there were no other rooms and I was having a family emergency. Even though the Expedia cost was $53.00 they said there was 16 dollars worth of fees and taxes and they said they did not honor the Expedia price. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The place was run down and I tried two different rooms and they smelled of stale cigerattes and was just overall worn out.

Sand Flea

The hotel is old and falling apart. One of the windows was actually Duct Taped back into the building. I made the reservation for one price and the hotel charged an entirely different price! Regardless of the itineray! The room was dirty and smelled. DO NOT STAY THERE!!! It is worth driving a little further.

I expected a lot more from the Expedia blurb (I realize that the hotel probably provides you with this info). For the price I expected more. If the price would have been half what I paid, I might consider it a good deal, but very dated rooms, old broken furniture. Not what I'm used to.

The SandFlea Hotel

We renamed this motel the Sand Flea. There were bugs in the bathroom and kitchen and all the appliances were either broke or not in good shape. The fridge in girls room wouldn't close, they had a huge bubble in the floor of their bath tub and they would not shower in there. I would be embrassed to recommend this to anyone. They need to clean up the cigarrette butts outside. Just Yucky!

Received what I expected and a wee bit more

hotel wasn't anything to write home about but it had the necessities and the price was right. There was one public computer to use and he let me print items - which was helpful to prebook our flight for the next day. the tub had recently been refinished and it had an airbubble underneath the new finish which made showering interesting. staff was friendly, courteous, and expediant.
