Well positioned, near center of Bologna.Posted Sep 18, 2016
Pros: WELL APPOINTED ROOMS, GOOD FOOD , VERY PLEASANT STAFF AND ATMOSPHERE
Cons: See arrival notes above
Location: Near the oldest university in Europe. Market and museums, churches and art.....plus some of the best food in Italy is at hand.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. If you're going to drive, get VERY explicit directions. You need to go to a garage several blocks away from the hotel and then call for instructions. Try to get hotel let you drop off bags at their fromnt door and then get someone to ride with you to garage.

Wonderful location near the Arena in Verona.Posted Jul 29, 2016
Pros: Situation, staff comfort
Cons: The price!
Location: As above
We have stayed in this hotel before. Situated just off the piazza in which the Arena di Verona sits, there could not be a better location. Plenty of good rstaurants nearby with a short walk to the main shopping street and "the balcony" The staff in the hotel are very friendly and interested. Parking available in an underground car park, which is charged.

Ideal if you have an event at the Arena di VeronaPosted Jul 4, 2016 on Hotels
We stopped in Verona for a concert in the Arena and a couple of days visit. The hotel is well located and with good facilities. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and quiet in spite of its central location.

Colomba D'OroPosted May 21, 2016 on Hotels
This is a good standard 4* hotel. Staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was a good size with separate dressing room and bathroom. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of hot and cold food and the usual very strong Italian coffee. Hotel is located close to the Arena and Piazza Bra with plenty of restaurants in the area and a good bar next door to the hotel. The other main tourist area (Piazza Erbe) is a 5-10 minute walk away. Buses are available in Piazza Bra. Railway station is a 15 minute walk away or 2 stops on the bus. Airport is Eur6 on the bus from the station or Eur32 in a taxi. Verona is not a big city and easily covered on foot.

Near perfectPosted Mar 24, 2016
Romantic, clean, quiet with friendly service. Just steps from Piazza Bra. Very comfortable room, big for European standards, modern bathroom, double sink! The only reason to not rate perfect was our very firm/hard mattress. Since I camp, I would compare the bed to a perfectly flat spot with good wide thermorest.

Perfect location for city explorationPosted Feb 29, 2016
Pros: Everything. Spacious room with separate wardrobe/suitcase area. Staff. Comfort.
Cons: Breakfast rolls could be fresher but everything else for breakfast was great.
Location: All the usual tourist things, all within walking distance. Seurat, van Gogh, Mondrian exhibition.
A very comfortable and quiet stay close to the arena, perfect location for exploring Verona. Also great as a base for day trip train journeys to Venice and Milan. Hotel staff were really helpful and friendly.
