Nice Hotel close to rail station

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Friendly helpful staff
Location: A couple of pizza restaurants and a pharmacy. Take bus to town lots to do there.
Hotel is just off one of the main roads in to town. There are regular bus services to the station and town from just outside. The hotel reception is clean and spacious. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and clean. There is ample parking outside. The breakfast is good. There are a couple of Pizza restaurants nearby.

Hotel Fiera

Posted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: Good value
Cons: It is not situated in an attractive part of the city, however it was only 10-15 mins away from the city center by public transport at under 3€ return
Location: Nothing nearby but close to all the rest of Verona
Comfortable hotel with air-con a little way out from the center of Verona, useful shuttle service to the Arena

Clean and tidy

Posted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness and free breakfast
Cons: Dodgy Wifi connection
Being about a 25 min walk from the train station and 40min from the centre of town, this place was further away than we expected. However, it was very clean and tidy. The Internet was a bit annoying as it kept cutting out and timing out in our room and we had to keep asking for new access codes.

Great Hotel for the Quiet Stay

Posted Dec 28, 2012
Pros: Free Parking
Cons: Kind of far from the tourist attractions, but worth it.
Location: Off the beaten path of tourists. Restaurants were much cheaper in the area
The hotel was just outside of the tourist area of Verona, so the restaurants in the area were much cheaper, parking was free, and there was not a lot of traffic at night to make it difficult to sleep. The hotel was very clean, and seemed as if it was fairly new. The staff were very friendly and helpful when planning your days events.

Good quality for the price.

Posted Jun 19, 2012
It's non central location makes it more suitable for someone exploring the whole region, a more central location would be preferable if you wish to spend a lot of time, or your evenings in Verona. It felt more like a good 3 star hotel than the 4 star one it's ranked as, but given the low price you get a good clean room, of a reasonable size. The included breakfast was Italian style with a lot of emphasis on cakes and pastries, rather than hot food, and was of a nice quality.

Great Hotel

Posted Jun 8, 2012
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: hot rooms
Location: Great location but probably best if using it as a base to travel to areas near by
I found staff to be very helpful and very pleasant. The room was big and clean the only issue was the heat. With air conditioning being a bit too noisy it was a bit difficult to sleep but otherwise the hotel was great. The breakfast was excellent, lots to choose from. It was a quiet area and great for parking. Great local pizzeria round the corner with pizza oven and full of local people. Bus stop across the road and station very near for day trips to Venice or Milan. Overall great hotel.

Much better inside than out!

Posted Feb 18, 2010
This hotel turned out to be in an area that was a bit rough looking but it had a very convenient bus stop opposite so this really didn't matter too much. It cost 1.20 to get to the centre on the bus and took about 10mins (including the wait for it). The outside of the hotel didn't do justice to the inside which is modern and well finished. Not very please when we discovered there was no tea and coffee making arrangements in the room; just a very well stocked mini-bar....far too tempting and not what we really needed after a long train journey from the ski resort! Staff are helpful, polite and speak reasonable english. The breakfast has a wide range of things to chose from and the staff tried very hard to keep up with the numbers they needed to cater for. Overall OK.
