In Mitten Verona'sPosted Nov 17, 2015

Wunderschönes Hotel mitten in VeronaPosted Oct 26, 2015

Decent but not 5 starsPosted Sep 26, 2015
When you compare this to the Due Torri, you cannot rate the Palazzo Victoria five stars. The hotel is very nice, but in the three or four star range. The staff is very helpful, bilingual, and courteous. The house cleaning was inconsistent. They were very thorough and effective some days and not on others.

Room was very clean, quiet, and pleasant. The only issue I had with it was the terrible wifi connection, which was very intermittent and extremely slow. The hotel staff at the front desk was just ok. Not the friendliest given the price of the hotel. We asked the front desk to order us a cab that accepted credit card, and when the cab arrived, it didn't accept credit card. Rather than ordering us a new taxi, the staff member suggested we go withdraw cash from the bank.

Well situatedPosted Sep 16, 2015
Old palace turned into overly trendy hotel. Tiny room - 365- avoid- with even tinier ridiculous shower room which would shame any chain motel and has no place in supposed 5 star hotel. Paper thin walls so could hear nose blowing from room next door. Amused to be told how we should a plate of risotto.

Boutique hotel in the centre of VeronaPosted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: Location, style & comfort
Cons: Double or triple glazing would be nice!...
Location: Cultural interest, including Juliet's balcony - which, if your lucky, will be accompanied by an open-air performance of the Bard's famous play (9pm)..
Ideally located for the best of Verona - stylish, clean, friendly and professional with the bonus of being very central, but with the downside of having traffic noise at night (can't have everything!).

Classy hotel in a great locationPosted Sep 9, 2015
Pros: The hotel is elegant and impeccably run, yet very relaxed. We felt at home straight away and were most reluctant to leave!
Location: The location is a particular plus point, all the sights and shops are within easy walking distance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and well-appointed with a large and really comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and totally efficient - they made us feel very welcome. The food was also excellent. We had a lovely pre-opera meal in the restaurant - we opted for one of the timed (45 or 60 minute) menus, which are very reasonably-priced given the high standard of cuisine, and this meant we had plenty of time to freshen up afterwards and stroll to the Arena.
