"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. Having said this the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. The owners greeted us on arrival and...

"This is our second visit because we enjoyed it so much last year. Varangeville is a beautiful village and the property is set in a wonderful garden and is very private. The area is great for cycling, especially the Route de lin which is a dedicated walking and cycling route. The house is immaculately clean and well equipped and the garden is a joy to spend time in.
