Romantic getaway

Pros: The king size bed - would have taken it home if we could :)
Cons: Shower and toilet area a little small - but very clean.
Location: Granite Island go by horse drawn trams then slow walk back. Fun fair open for all ages. Local markets on the foreshore.
We had a fantastic weekend away, with lots of things to do. The weather was amazing. The hotel has several restaurants which we tried. The 3 course meal was great value and very tasty, we left very full and needed to go for a walk along the beach front. In the morning we were lucky enough to get a table by the open windows, we sat there listening to music and watching the world go by - very relaxing.... We had a room with a view and one of the most comfortable beds we had slept in for a long time.

Pros: Location
Was concerned initially by the air conditioning units outside our window due to possible noise of a night time. My concern wasn't necessary. The weather was really hot and we had the air conditioner go all night. It purred so quietly we slept in - that rarely halogens at home.

Pros: Good service
Cons: Quality of our room
Location: Have stayed at the hotel before. That's why we chose Victor Harbor.
The room had no view at all. Just a roof full of air conditioners. We had paid for a room with a sea view, as advertised on the Expedia website.

Simple and convenient. We were passing through, only stayed one night. Were there Christmas morning for breakfast. The kitchen was open for hour and a half, which was plenty of time.

Location: Hadn't been in Victor for more than 30years and love it just as much.
The air conditioners outside our window were a little noisy overnight but we were in a cheaper room. Hope to come again one day and stay in a better room. The food and service in the bistro are excellent. Thank you so much !

Pros: The cleanliness and facilities.
Cons: The service, especially the reception staff who seemed cold and unwelcoming.
Location: Close to the beach and shops. You can go on the train ride or on the horse drawn tram. There is also a cinema nearby.
The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The view we had from our room was not the best really, so if you want a nice view you must ask and pay for one. The café downstairs serves food most of the day, it is standard pub fare. We had dinner there one night, well that was enough really, pretty ordinary. The breakfast is much better with a very good selection o suit most people and if you have a cooked breakfast it is cooked fresh. Overall pretty good for the price.
