River view is great.

Could use a few more staff when checking in and for assistance in office.

We ended our trip with 2 days here. Staff was friendly and attentive. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant nor walked around the premises so it's difficult for us to judge what the hotel is really like. However, our room was clean and comfortable. If that's any indication of how the hotel maintains its property then I'm sure it's a lovely place to lounge around. We had other day activities scheduled that prevented us from really exploring the hotel. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

Great setting on the river.

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: Loved the location.
Cons: They only quoted price for breakfast buffet, which was expensive, but they do offer a la carte. They should advertise this.
We were upgraded because the resort was not full. This meant instead of a garden view we had a river view. Staff very friendly. We did not eat there because of other arrangements. Close to river boat cruises and helicopter rides. Special visits daily by baboons, warthogs, and hippo! Very entertaining.

Great option in Victoria Falls

Posted Jul 12, 2017
Pros: The hotel's location and friendly staff, modern room amenities, hotel design, outdoor pool though it was too chilly to use, bar and restaurant
Cons: Shouldn't have had booking details incorrect; housekeeping didn't restock regular coffee packets, had to call room service daily to get more
Location: A short drive away are the sunset cruises and the hotel seems to offer their own; helicopter tour is nearby; hotel offers shuttle to Falls entrance
At first they had my wrong booking info, putting me in a downgraded room and weren't going to give me breakfast though my confirmation letter said differently, however the manager on staff fixed this after verifying my booking details. As the hotel was full, my first night was spent in a downgraded room, but they got me into the correct room for the second and third nights. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room decor and bedding, I wasn't expecting it to be so modern. The staff was all very friendly and professional, particularly the bell staff, front desk and restaurant and bar staff. I wasn't expecting the hotel to offer a free town shuttle, I didn't remember reading that in the hotel info, and it was a pleasant surprise and got to use it once. The hotel is about 10 minutes out of town, and they say its not safe to walk around at night due to wild animals, so it was best to be shuttled around. The hotel's distance from Victoria Falls main town area may at first come across as a con, however being on the Zambezi river and remoteness is one of its best features. Daily we were joined by warthogs, vervet monkeys and mongoose on the hotel grounds while we had a beer at the bar.

A distance away from town, but worth the trip!

Clean facilities. Comfortable room. Very friendly service. The breakfast buffet is very expensive if not included in the room price, but you can order off the menu at reasonable prices.

Correct price & service

Posted Mar 9, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel is ok, just make sure to have cash with you upon arrival as the CC machine didn't work properly. I've done a massage in the room, good price but not much practical as the room is not convenient for it. The food at the restaurant is ok, they have buffet with wildlife meat - croc & warthog (if you wish to try). Free shuttle bus to the Falls & city center. Good price for 1 or 2 night at the Falls.

Ok for Convention or Group Tours, poor otherwise

Expensive buffet breakfast at $30. Shuttle bus to and from Vic Falls dirty old and more in keeping as a works vehicle. Not, not, tourist acceptable.
