Clean and hospitable. No interconnecting room provided for our family. Great local culture during dinner In dining option extremely expensive due to the U.S. $

Close to Victoria Falls

Posted Jul 3, 2016
Pros: Great buffet Entertaining show during dinner Comfortable bed AMAZING staff
Cons: The prices for meals were quite high
Location: Victoria Falls
From check in to check out, the staff at A'Zambezi went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasure. The grounds are relaxing and beautiful. The rooms are well equipped with wifi and great conveniences. The hotel is a bit outside of town, but the shuttle buses run promptly and get you where you want to go.

Nice and relaxing place near th river

Posted May 12, 2016
The hotel staff were nice and friendly. The hotel facility was clean and well maintained. The room was also clean with AC, mosquito net and direct access to the garden if you are at 1st floor room but it was too small to move a muscle if the net is ready. The food at the restaurant was affordable and of good quality with traditional song and dance show at dinner. You can enjoy dining under leafy shade at off-peak time. One down side was the shuttle to town was not so frequent. So basically you need to grab a cab with 10 dollars one way.

Nice place to stay for a short while on a budget

Posted May 2, 2016
Pros: The staff are very attentive and helpful, especially Kimpton and Joseph.
Cons: Breakfast was lacking good coffee.
Location: Monkeys were pesky, tried to come in through the sliding glass door. Great views of the Zambezi, and very peaceful setting.
Room was fine, dinner was fine, breakfast was a struggle, but overall OK. Good place to stay if you are taking the sunset river cruise as the hotel is right on the Zambezi. The staff are very helpful and the shuttle into town and to Vic Falls was appreciated.

Really loved staying here. Beautiful position on the river. Enjoyed being out of the rat race in such a tranquil setting. Excellent rooms, staff, food , entertainment etc. wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Overpriset og middels service, men flotte omgivels

Posted Mar 5, 2016 on Hotels
Flott hotell i vakre omgivelser, men forventet bedre service til prisen.
