Very different than advertisedPosted Aug 10, 2015
I was expecting a big fancy hotel as advertised, but instead it was more of a lodge that you would find near a hot springs. The bulb burnt out in the bathroom over the toilet, and the front desk said they'd send someone to fix it but never did. We called again and asked what was up and they said the maintenance man was out and they didn't have access to light bulbs. They told us to just use the night light, but there was no outlet in the pocket room with the toilet. They could have at least called us back and let us know no one was coming so that I didn't wait idly by for nothing before getting in the shower.

awesome amenities - true 5 star hotelPosted Aug 7, 2015
Pros: pub, lounging style recliner sofa chairs in room, air conditioning, Jacuzzi, keurig coffee, makeup mirror, 2 sinks, safe in room
Cons: Bed - it was a little hard, not very pillowy
Location: Bouchart Gardens were close buy, was nice and quiet and relaxing which is what we were looking for.
We were looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday and we found it at this resort. We would go back in a heart beat. It was very classy resort.

Very nice hotel/spa near Butchart Gardens.Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Luxurious rooms and great dining.
Cons: The menu could be expanded.
Location: Quiet location in a modest neighbourhood. Easy drive to most attractions.
Enjoyed our brief stay, just wish we had booked the spa ahead of time as there were no convenient times available once we had settled in. This is a quality hotel with great service and amenities.

Fabulous Place!Posted Jul 12, 2015
We loved our 2 night stay at this wonderful hotel. Beautiful views of the bay, attentive and friendly staff, lovely room. We especially enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Victoria, but close enough to visit there easily. (25 minutes or so) Wineries are nearby for tasting and kayaks and paddleboards are readily available to rent.

Loved our stay at Brentwood BayPosted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Everthing - the room and pool area in particular.
Cons: Nothing that we can think of.
Location: Good location for visiting Victoria and nearby attractions. Also ferry across to Mill Bay and other parts of Vancouver Island.
We loved everything about Brentwood Bay, the location; the room (which was large and comfortable with all amenities); the facilities and the food (we ate several times in the restaurant). Would definitely stay there again.
