Close to everything in Cental London

Posted Dec 13, 2017
Recieved a warm welcome on arrival. Rooms very clean and comfortable. I was presented with a bottle of wine by hotel management on my birthday! Good choice breakfast. My experience of the Comfort Inn Westminster could not have been better! This is the first time I have used Expedia and it certainly won't be the last! Thankyou!

Small Accomodations

Posted Oct 26, 2017
Pros: not much. I guess the location to the underground.
Cons: water pressure, vacuum the carpet, provide a place to eat breakfast
Location: the location was good and we felt safe walking from the underground
I didn't realize how small the room was, which was alright, but the bathroom had NO water pressure and it was near impossible to take a shower as the head is so close to the wall. It was raining harder than the pressure of the water on the shower! Also, the breakfast room was under construction and was supposed to have been finished when we were there Oct 9-15th. Not real pleased with the bag breakfast. For the $200 per night, I expected a nicer and cleaner hotel. Our room was so small that I am sure they didn't vacuum it the whole time we were there.

Rooms in the basement

Posted Oct 12, 2017
I had booked a single bedroom at a resonable price (not incredibly cheap) and found out at my hotel arrival that the room was in the basement and windowless. London’s hotel quality is not great but this is outrageous. When I asked for a room change I was told it was not possible and asked to fill a complain with no further interest in solving the situation. This hotel is a no-go.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you very much for your candid review of your recent stay at our hotel. I immensely appreciate your comments as your feedback is valuable to us. Our main priority is to be able to offer a very well-maintained and comfortable accommodation. All our rooms are of standard European size. It’s regretful to hear the dissatisfaction towards your experience. There is a constant effort put in to the refurbishment of the hotel interior to make it spacious, clean and up to date. Not having a second chance would be a shame since we seemed not to have worked wonders on this occasion! We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Close to Victoria Station

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Victoria Station is known as the travel hub of London, you can get Bus, underground or train, to anywhere walk from hotel is about 5 mins. Buckingham Palaceis 1.3 miles away along with Big Ben, the eye and so much more. Loved that. Major down fall, beda are terrible. Lumpy and no flat sheet, just the comforter which I didn't like! and breakfast isn't good. I would recommend with these warnings.

One of the worst hotels

Posted Sep 14, 2017 on Hotels
I prepaid for a 2 night stay, but after the 1st night moved to a different hotel. I decided to cut my losses and forget about the money. The room was very small with no place to put the luggage. It was dirty and the decor was very out dated. There was a 20" television hooked to the wall, which didn't rotate well. The bathroom was large with a bidet and toilet, but it smelled of mildew and there was a lot of mold along the bathtub caulk. There were wall dispensers for all in one shower gel / shampoo and soap. No individual soaps, shampoos, conditioners, or lotions. I asked to move rooms, but decided to just leave the hotel. After informing the front desk of my plans, they locked me out of my room. I had to tell them my luggage was still in the room. I was assuming an American chain hotel would have much better amenities. I will never use another Comfort Inn again, no matter what country.

Staff friendly but no porter to help with luggage

Posted Sep 6, 2017
Pros: Proximity to coach station, breakfast, receptionist help with queries
Cons: Smell in room use of sprays or check bedding for cleanliness
Location: Shops, pubs, groceries , coaches, booking office for coach trips.
Room had a smell about it but appeared clean, down below street level. Breakfast was very good. bed was comfortable enough location close to most things and suited our departure via coach. Staff knowable about area.

good place to lay your head

Posted Sep 5, 2017 on Hotels
standard room is quite small, we also stayed in a triple which was better. the rooms aren't consistent other than the super small bathroom - you literally can sit on the toilet shower and use the sink all at the same time. everything is old but still a place to sleep...

Great staff

Posted Aug 17, 2017
The staff were helpful and friendly throughout a 4 night stay. The room was small and a bit tired, however that was offset by its great location and low price. If you want luxury this wouldn't be for you but if looking for somewhere to lay your head at night in between sightseeing it works very well.

Nice hotel, centrally located

Posted Aug 14, 2017
Pros: Location, Affordability
Location: Close to transit - bus stop at door, tube only a short walk away Lots of restaurants closeby Safe neighbourhood Centrally located
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I wasn't expecting a lot but the room was quite nice. I had a balcony and enjoyed the fresh air. My room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was small and the shower was interesting, but once I figured it out, it was all right. I felt safe in the area and there was always someone at the front desk which was nice. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which takes you to Victoria station. If you want to walk, Victoria and Pimlico are both only 5-7 mins walking from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants as well as a great coffee shop very close. I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.
