Satisfactory stay. Could clean better, but I was comfortable.

The service was ok. Nothing to “whoa” about. Requested for a late checkout, but was refused. Some hotels in downtown accommodated marathon runners who could not checkout by 11am.

Nice hotel close to downtownPosted Sep 28, 2017
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Close to downtown, with restaurants and a major shopping centre nearby.
Clean, comfortable room. The king size bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious. The free breakfast had a lot of variety and was kept well stocked.

Pretty good hotel, close to mall and foodPosted Sep 23, 2017
Pros: Free parking and WiFi
Cons: The buffet could use a major improvement.
Location: Mall, food/restaurants, park.
A typical 3 star hotel. The buffet was ok, but not the greatest selection. The bed was also pretty good, but pillows were semi flat. Overall if on a budget, good hotel to stay at, with free parking and WiFi.

Nice room - comfortable and clean. Bed excellent. Need shower grab bars, tub mat and higher toilets, as do many hotels. This is for the comfort and safety of older people.

Pros: Easy to find location within 2 miles of downtown Victoria and with free parking & breakfast
Cons: Relocating billboard!!!!!!!
Location: Butchart Gardens are incredible! Downtown wharf area with Empress Hotel, Fisherman's Wharf for casual, but good food and views, Fisgard Lighthouse
Reserved room with 2 queen beds. Those rooms are in "the tower" which backs to Blanchard St/aka Hwy 17. Rooms had traffic noise and electric scrolling advertisement sign directly outside resulted in flashing color lights in room, even with black out shades. Moved into main building the next morning and with 2 double beds which was much quieter. Rooms looked clean on surface, but dirty under the beds/dust ruffle. Breakfast crew were friendly.

Hotel situates in a considerably good location closes to the downtown area; fairly clean condition throughout the hotel; even though reception service is not the best, the staffs in the breakfast session provide excellent morning welcoming service, definitely a credit to the hotel; however, very upset about the room service and very limited in-room supplies, no drinkable water provided, not even complimentary water, neither a kettle...overall, NOT recommended.
