Front desk staff rude. Could feel springs in the bed

We pride ourselves on giving the best customer service to all out guests. Our mattress are all new by a couple of years but I will check with the maintenance department in that it is possible they missed one when we changed them all out. Good hotel, good location

Pros: Great pillows, and close to amenities
Cons: Customer service - not very personal or overly friendly
Location: Close to trans Canada highway so easy access to victoria or other nearby attractions. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping
Nothing screamed 'WOW' about the hotel or staff. Rooms were average, I was disappointed there was no bathtub in my room but other than that they were clean and had everything I needed. WIFI was good, rented a movie and had some issues with it skipping and the staff refunded the movie price which was nice. We had an emergency and evacuated hotel and there was no communication to the hotel guests from hotel staff which bothered me. Found out from a fireman that restaurant had a gas leak but we were allowed back after a couple hours with no further issues.

Thank you for your review after your stay. I hear all the time how comfortable our pillows are. I am sorry that you found the service not very personable or friendly. We pride ourselves on our customer service and giving the guest a wonderful experience. I apologize as well for the communication breakdown during the hour gas leak. I know most guests were advised of the situation I apologize that you got missed in that information flow. I do hope if you are in that area you will consider the hotel again and let us show you our true hospitality.

Unnacceptable

1 hotel staff .I couldn't get a blanket for hours she had to sneak away from the front desk.I asked for a quiet room and got stuck on the the ground floor by the noisy lobby and people partying in the parking lot.I emailed my complaints tk the hotel desk manager and got nothing in response.I have stayed there about a dozen times and frankly 8 out of ten are not comfortable stays ..1 staff member at the front desk on a long weekend.I Really don't think i want to stay at a place where whoever is running it clearly doesn't care.

Thank you for your review after your stay. I am sorry you were disappointed in what seemed to be lack of service. There is always a Duty Manager on during the weekends to cover the entire hotel to deal with any issues that occur such as noise and to help all the hotel staff where needed. I apologize in that you felt a desk agent was alone during this time. The hotel can get very busy for both the agent and the manager over a long weekend period and I am sorry that that was not relayed to you during your stay. I am certain that the length of time for your blanket was due to it being very busy for the two of them that evening and not in that an agent was alone. I will follow up with the Desk Manager to see the status of your complaint. I do hope that you will return to the hotel, and see that our customer service and that we do care about all our staff members, in the future.

Too Far from Victoria

Pros: Clean, staff very freindly
Cons: Entrance and parking coul be improved
Hotel, staff and amenities were great. Parking can be challenging. Travel to and from Victoria is problematic.

There are times when the hotel is full that the upper lot does fill up however we do also have a lower lot near the restaurant that is also available to guest. If you are traveling into the city during the early hours of the week, yes it can take time as you will get caught in rush hour. However outside of that it should take about 20 minutes. I do hope that you will stay with us again in the future

Great hotel and location

We stayed here for three nights recently. We had a real problem getting on the Internet (and also with the cable on one of the three nights) for some reason but nick took care of us by comping a couple of breakfasts and also allowing us to watch a couple of pay movies. All in all, a great hotel. Nick, you were meant to do the job that you do. Well done.

Vancouver island 2016

Location: Lots of good trails close by to walk - not to mention victoria being only 15 minutes away
Hotel is circa 15 minutes outside Victoria and 35 minutes from Swartz bay ferry terminal, easy for commute in either direction - traffic on island can get quite congested at times. Location of hotel offers opportunity to walk (10 mins) to local shops and restaurants if you want to stretch your legs. reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do in Victoria. The buffet breakfast we had in the hotel restaurant was ok - scrambled egg was dry it would be a stretch to consider it value for money

Quite and peaceful hotel.

Kim greeted us at the hotel and helped us cheak in. The room was clean and upto date. The staff was amazing. This was the first time I came to Victoria and if I come again I will stay at the 4 point sherton hotel.
