Nice hotel but too far from town centerPosted Sep 21, 2015
Website says free shuttle to town but charged us 15.00 per trip when we used it. Also only one shuttle so several times we had a use cab at even higher cost. Probably won't go back. But was nice and clean

Beautiful hotel, friendly staffPosted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: The location, the hotel, the room, the staff and the food
Cons: Larger dining area, though it always seemed adequate.
Location: A few blocks away is the quaint village of Oak Bay. Next to the hotel is the Marina and in the other direction beautiful ocean front estates.
We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable about the Victoria area and activities. We always drove the scenic route along the ocean to Victoria and looked forward to it. The restaurant food and staff were excellent. The room design and features were surprisingly tasteful and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting the Victoria area.

Great timePosted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly service, great views.
Cons: The fitness center was only a small room with average, kind of clunky, cardio machines.
Location: We had a car, so being a small drive from Downtown Victoria was fine with us.
Beautiful clean room and friendly service. A great place to stay in Victoria BC. The warm pool (mineral bath) made it not matter if the weather was cooler. We spent hours out there. We ate at the Pub the first night, good food, a little pricey, but that is expected for a hotel bar. With the kitchenette, we went to a nearby market and bought food for breakfast so we didn't have to pay for their over-priced breakfasts. That was a nice way to start the morning. There was a coffee-maker and free coffee and water in the room. The room was a nice size and the bathrooms were large, with heated tile and a large bathtub, along with a shower. They rooms had robes to take down to the spa area, and you could take the elevator down to the lower level to avoid the main floor if you felt self-conscious about walking around in a robe. The steam room was more like a eucalyptus-infused torture chamber, (I wish I was joking about that, staying 2 minutes in that room was an endurance test.) We met a lot of very nice people hanging out in the spa area, everyone was there to relax and have a good time. Victoria was a beautiful city and a fantastic vacation choice. You can't go wrong using this as your launching point.

Heavenly Place to StayPosted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: Wonderful woodwork and interior design features, large and spacious rooms, helpful and friendly staff. A gorgeous place to stay.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Location: The Oak Bay area is very nice, though off the beaten path from Victoria. But the views are great, the area is clean and bright. Very nice.
We were floored by the beautiful room and wonderful accommodations at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel. Far exceeded our expectations. We only wish we had booked a longer stay.

Luxury hotel in prime locationPosted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel, and would definitely stay again. Nice for a quiet, couple get-away.
Location: Away from the noisy downtown but only a five minute drive away . On the ocean. Lots of sporting activities, walking, and lovely shopping nearby.
We had the most fabulous stay in this hotel. The hotel is very well constructed and beautifully finished. The room was generous in size, and very quiet, with no outside noise whatsoever. Small bar area with micro wave, mini-fridge, coffee machine, glasses, dishes and cutlery for snacks in the room. Located in a quiet residential area, on the ocean/beach drive, but only a few minutes drive from the quaint Oak Bay Village where you find everything you need from up-scale restaurants, gift shops, clothing and shoe stores, groceries, banks, parks. You can walk outside the hotel and walk or jog along the ocean. The mineral pools, and pool bar, overlook the ocean. Absolutely beautiful for relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous ocean view. The food in the Snug pub, where you can sit inside, or outside on the terrace overlooking the ocean and pools, was excellent. Beds and bedding were luxurious.

Beautiful waterside hotelPosted Sep 15, 2015
Gorgeous hotel. The views are breathtaking. They are in the process of deciding whether to get a first class restaurant in there but in the meantime the food in the snug is good. Wonderful experience to stay there. Can't wait to go back

A beautiful place by the sea to escapePosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: It's stunning beauty at a perfect location.
Cons: The room service was a tad slow to respond.
Location: As outdoor enthusiasts we were able to enjoy the hotel bikes for a breathtaking ride along the coastline. Great selection of shops at Oak Bay Village.
My partner and I enjoyed two wonderful nights and found the service, the amenities, the staff, the location and of course the pool (did I mention the pool?) out of this world. It gave us as exactly what we wanted; a haven of quiet comfort yet close enough to the city to commute back and forth at a leisurely pace. We will definitely be back and are more than happy to recommend it to all of our friends. Thank you.

Most Amazing Staff EverPosted Sep 9, 2015
Location: Pool and spa are fabulous. Views are unbeatable. Close to marina.
Aside from the absolute beauty of the hotel and the grounds, the hotel staff was beyond amazing. We were involved in an automobile accident on the way to the hotel and arrived via taxis in a very stressed and unsettled state of mind. The staff went above and beyond to provide comfort and care to our family. The restaurant was closed and they graciously offered to serve us from the pub menu in their lobby next to the fireplace. We were able to relax and have a wonderful meal and decompress in comfort. What an amazing property, but it was made even more amazing with the people working there. Thank you very much.

Very nice hotel, great area, right on beach!Posted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: I was impressed with very high quality interior designe, great amenities, very nice location.
Cons: No comments on that, I liked everything!
Location: Theatre is right in the hotel, cafe and very nice restaurant, three pools with heated mineral water with a full bar ;). Marina in 5" distance.
Outstanding quality resort! Spacious room, small but well equipped kitchen, great view of ocean!
