Room was extemely small. Elevator very small also. Walls were paper thin, heard the tv on next door until the early hours of the morning. Lots of hallway noise also. Wouldn't consider this hotel again for future stays.

My son and I went to Victoria and was originally driving back home to comox valley. Upon looking at hotel rates, I found Red Lion Suites and the rates made it easy to decide to stay a night. I can’t believe it was so inexpensive and the rooms are clean, nice and just right for a night stay, it even has kitchenette. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to see more of Victoria and needing a place to stay.

I was really impressed with the way they set up the room with a little kitchenette and desk area as well. Great use of space! I also liked the hard surface flooring in the rooms, it felt clean. Housekeeping was to a good standard as well. I can’t give perfect marks because there was slightly above average noise transfer between our room and the next, as well as a few areas of the room (tub) that did reflect the age of the property. I really liked the magnifying mirror in the bathroom - just an example of the thoughtful additions to the room that make it very comfortable. I’d stay here again any day!

The hotel is fine, appropriate for the price point. The rooms were clean but had limited amenities and very cheap appliances and linens. The pool area looks like it’s been closed for a very long time and was very dirty/not nice to look at. It’s a convenient location to get to but the area has many homeless people and the liquor store in the same building seems to attract people you don’t want to run into. We just scooted in quickly and stuck to our room. The staff are all very nice. If you’re not hanging around your hotel a lot this is a totally fine place to stay, just limit your expectations.

Property was okay - you get what you pay for. Had a slight issue with the bed and the staff went out of their way to take good care of us. So I definitely gave them 5 stars for the service.

I booked a room with kitchen and was given room 107. The room smells terrible! Not foodies but musty smell! I asked to change the room but there was none available at first. They ended up offer the air purifier, which needed to let it runs all days long! I got headaches from the noise of the purifier and the strong musty smell. For the third night, they moved us to third floor. No musty smell, but also no kitchen. The room was downed -grade, and no apology! Not recommend this place, especially if you go with kids.
