Upgraded to a suite. Will book a suite next trip.Posted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: Free shuttle, close to every thing, older but well kept
Location: One block off the water front, next to Parliament, 3 blocks from down town,
We had a wonderful trip, and it was wonderful to be so close to everything, We ferried across from Port Angeles, the entrance is one block from the terminal, We had a car but walked all over, We were treated like royalty! We will make another trip and stay at the Royal Scot again.

Great hotel and great service!Posted Sep 28, 2015
This hotel is right in the quiet end of the core of the downtown attractions. it is a block from the water. The price is great and the staffs are very friendly and cheerful. The check-in is swift! I receive a free room upgrade! The room is very spacious, and the king size bed is comfortable.

Great room. Older hotel but very clean.Posted Sep 26, 2015
This hotel would be great for long stay. The room had a full kitchen and separate bedroom. The location is one block from the Inner Harbour , and the courtesy shuttle was available. We used it to get to the bus station. Our only complaint was the quality of the food in the restaurant. Our breakfast fruit was past it's best before date.

Pros: Friendly staff, cleanliness, centralization of hotel with easy access to the ocean, downtown, inner harbour and all the activities happening the city
Location: See comments made above
I had booked studio room but we were upgraded to one bedroom suite. The bedroom was very small with limited drawers usage as half of them were not working. I was very disappointed with the room. I went down and talked to the person at the receptions and he checked to see if he can move us to another room. The hotel was full so he gave us a special room they hold in emergency - called Royalty Suite. It is a very nice room on the 4th floor. We got to use this room during our stay. I was very impressed with the friendly service. We have been staying with Royal Scott for a long time and we have always received an excellent service.

Close to HarbourPosted Sep 11, 2015
Pros: Quiet location yet close to Inner Harbour and downtown. Great Pool and Hot Tub.. The ensuite sitting room with full kitchen.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Just blocks from Inner Harbour; Fisherman's Warf; Downtown; walking distance to cafes and many tourist sites and guides etc.
We spent a great time exploring the city of Victoria after several years away for myself and the first time for my wife. Victoria is a very walkable city where the Inner Harbour; downtown; and a number of cafes, and places of interest are all within walking distance. For those staying a few days or longer the full kitchen including range and full size frig is great and can be stocked from the local "Thrifty's" Supermarket on nearby Menzies Street. When travelling we like to relax in the evening and so an hotel with an indoor pool is a must for us. The basement also has a fitness centre, hot tub, saunas, games room and laundry onsite too. Overall a very great experience.
