Great hotel in walking distance of everythingPosted Aug 30, 2015
We traveled from Seattle to Victoria with family for the first time, so we got a 2 bedroom penthouse suite. The hotel was easy to get to and within walking distance of all the tourist attractions. We loved using the balcony at night to look out over the city and view the sunsets, absolutely beautiful! There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids and is so a nice set up! We will definitely stay at the Oswego again!

Perfect location for walking to everything.Posted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Nice room design with kitchenette and extra table seating. Small balcony for cooling off. Large elevators gave swift access to other floors and lobby.
Location: Terrific location for walkers.
Quiet, residential location was ideally situated for ease of access to central harbor, fisher mans warf, restaurants, BC museum . Water taxi nearby for cross-bay shuttles. Food was excellent with variety of inside and outside seating. Wait staff very friendly and gave a personal touch.

Pleasant SurprisePosted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Pull out couch!
Three of stayed at the hotel for just one night. We love the modern decor and pleasant staff. Also enjoyed the free parking and WIFI which is not common at larger hotels these days. Our room was very comfortable but the pull out couch was poor quality as is also common at most hotels. We had a great meal at the Bistro with very good service and tasty food. Wednesday is jazz night which was a nice addition to our overall experience. Definitely would recommend Oswego Hotel. Your location is close but not too close to the harbour!😎

Great hotel for extended stayPosted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: location, size of room
Cons: sofa bed mattress
Location: It was an short walk to the ferry. A plus for us. Had a great meal at Steamship Grill & Bar on the water nearby. And of course visited Butchart Garden
We were very impressed. Expected a tiny kitchenette, but it was a full kitchen. More than we needed for one night. I would imagine it would be a wonderful place to stay for a conference or longer vacation in Victoria. We could barely take advantage of all it had to offer. Oh, but the sofa bed mattress wasn't comfortable at all according to my daughter. That was the only negative.

Great hotel with nice kitchen close to the actionPosted Aug 23, 2015
Great hotel with nice kitchen close to the action. You can walk to all the attraction. Very clean. Only negative are the old TVs and lack of digital channels.

Nice quiet hotelPosted Aug 23, 2015
Friendly staff. Pretty. Clean. Studio unit was very spacious. Portable AC. Carpet in room looks a bit worn. In room breakfast was too small.

Pros: Close to the water
Cons: Either bring down prices as it is an old apartment buiulding converted to a hotel or provide exceptional servcies that fit to the high rateroom charge
Location: Victoria, BC
The staff was extremely rude, services were none, no courtesy in-room coffee or water, hot bet room without air conditioner so had to sleep with windows open only to be woke up by squeaking sea gulls, plastci blinds fell off teh window, etc.. For US$650/night suite that we didn't need but had no other choice, we couldn't sleep well and left in the morning regreting. I will never stay in this hotel again. We went to the neighboring Marriot and we had a excellent accomodation and services.

new modern suite hotelPosted Aug 16, 2015
Location: easy walking distance to inner harbor and shopping, restaurants
everything perfect, except no A/C so August heat made rooms unbearably hot and stuffy. Staff provided a room fan, which only pushed hot air around the rooms. perfect hotel except in summer heat
