Had to call the front desk for sheets and blankets for the sofa bed, upon pulling the sofa bed out, there was trash and the mattress was very old/worn down. The pool and Jacuzzi area need a remodel or at least fix the holes in the walls.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the hotub was exceptional. I had a kink in my back and the jets helped a ton.

Place was nice, close to town, food and stores. Super pet friendly. Pool is a little on the dirt side but understandable because it’s winter. My kids still had a blast. We would stay here again

Not so great this time
Normally, my stay at Holiday Inn is good but not this time. I'm handicapped but got shoved into a room with a bed too high for me to get on. My legs hurt getting off and on all the time. They said they still have yet to fix the elevator after two months now. The room was so small too. Nothing like the handicapped room. I was so mad. I didn't even get a sorry or a discount for the next stay. $460 for three days and got that.

Bad experience
Elevator was not working. Requested for a room that won’t require long walk but the customer service still gave us a room that requires walk to end of the 1st floor for the stairs going to the 2nd floor then a long walk going to our room. Went back to the customer service if she can just give us a 1st floor but she insisted no vacant rooms available on the 1st floor. But it looks like not a lot of guests.

Additionally, we are a non-smoking property, however there are times when guests will smoke in the hotel regardless. Our staff does try to determine where the smoke smell is coming from when we are aware of it in order to remind the guests of our non-smoking policy.

The property itself was great. Since this is my go to hotel when we come to this town. Unfortunately this time I was unhappy with my stay, I did not get any housekeeping in my room. The trash cans where pretty much filled to the top, I didn’t get new towels nor my beds made. When I called front desk they said it was only upon request, though my sister in law stayed there as well and got her room cleaned without requesting it.
